Great trip

Great place for large family of 8 (teens and adults). Location is a quiet neighborhood a quick walk to the subway, lots of good food nearby. General communication with host was good, especially after small emergency. Cons: The living room is in the ground floor/basement near one bedroom. We needed the space as a place to sleep (on a pull out sofa) for one teen as the bunk room on the same floor only has one bunk bed, not two as pictured in the listing. This worked out fine as we spent most of our hangout time together on the main floor which is kitchen/dining (one large room). Our check in was also a bit off. we were told to drop off bags day of check in after the other guests were gone while the cleaning crew was there. It turned out the previous guests were still there very late (awkward). When we arrived back at check in time, the cleaning crew was not done, it took them almost an additional hour. Would recommend overall, despite the cons!

An Oasis in Kennington

Our family of 8 had a magnificent stay in this wonderful house in Kennington. The tree lined street was quiet and seemed very safe and Kennington park is a two minute walk away. The Kennington tube stop is less than 5 minutes from 9 Sharsted. Super convenient to get to all the main attractions in London. The house itself was very nice. Newly renovated. Nice kitchen table that could seat 8-10. Washer and dryer in the kitchen (super convenient) were also new and worked great. Kennington is a great area with many pubs (Old Lion and White Bear were our favorites). Our host (Matilda) was responsive and very accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!
