This property is advertised as an “oasis” and kid friendly with a gaming garage room and a large fenced in back yard. So, I brought my daughter and my two toddler grandsons with me for 8 days. The home is poorly cared for from the outside in. The yard is mostly sand and what I assumed to be gopher holes. The door lock worked well and the check in process was easy. Communication with the host was very prompt and comfortable. The home was cooled and somewhat quiet at night. Once inside, however, the lack of cleanliness of the tile floors caused the kids’ feet to turn black within the 1st hour. All the tables are glass (not secured to the table base so the glass will fall off if pushed). This home is filthy and in poor condition aesthetically. The host was shown several pictures of the dirty floors and mildew in the bathrooms as well as broken dart tips lying on the garage floor and beer bottle tops and empty soda cans in the window sill. The guest bath is just nasty. Multiple issues were advised to the host, too many to list here. I was asked to be available for a washing machine delivery in the middle of the week, which we accommodated. I found the request to be inconsiderate. The host reimbursed my credit card for the cleaning fee and an extra 30 for waiting for the washer to be delivered. I was extremely disappointed in this home after the hype of the advertisement. It is definitely not a relaxing oasis.
