I would not recommend this hotel. Staff was not very welcoming except for an automated text after check-in. I received additional fees not disclosed by the attendant who checked us in, I paid my room through Expedia and was not aware of charges on my card until after the fact. I expected a pet fee which I called ahead about, $70, but there was a $10.50 charge on top of it! Beyond that there were community tax fees and parking fee+ tax that were never disclosed. I'm know we were way over charged for snacks, but I won't complain I understand it's a convivence. Hotel lobby is nice and open rooms are spacious, but don't be fooled. My major concern was my son was bit up everywhere by "something" when he slept on the sofa bed. The room was damaged and looked very outdated and run down for $300.00 a night plus $115.00 of unexpected fees not worth it. The area is noisy and very run down.

The hotel itself was in decent condition. The front desk personnel was very unhelpful. My friend was checking in later at night and because of a different shift and bad communication I had to be woken up at 1am to let my friend in. They just apologized for not looking for notes, I requested room cleaning services the next morning to come back and find out they didn’t come, we needed more towels so I called again to the front desk and asked for additional towels, that never came in, we had to go to the swimming pool to grab clean towels, I was also charged more for the hotel, a 16+ mandatory fee per day plus parking per day despite the fact that Expedia said what I saw was what I was going to help.

Had a long layover at LAX, so just got a room to sleep for a few hours. Staff was great at check in, but the room had black mold coming out of the AC vent. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and no blankets provided. Glad our stay was very short.

Embassy Suites used to be my favorite, now looking

Embassy suites has gone downhill, hopefully this property is an anomaly. The made to order eggs was gone and the breakfast had gone from one of my favorite hotel perks to being just average and forgettable. The property overall was definitely showing its age and while overall clean seemed a bit tired and worn out. Parking is a complete ripoff and an extra 60 dollar charge you don’t find out about until there at the desk - something I am pretty sure is illegal to do in California.
