I liked the size of the room (King with view) and the location/distance to Universal Studios; it was so easy to walk there, and the shuttle was convenient late at night. The downside included the mattress; it's time for some upgrades, as I could feel a bit of the springs in the mattress. Also, the shower tub had some chips in it.

Not really walkable & not great food options around the hotel. I suppose it would be convenient for those going to Universal. My room was fairly nice and a good size, if not a little dated. Our 2nd floor room (lobby is on the 3rd floor) also looked into a back road of the hotel that looks like it was used for valet parking; just wish we had a nicer view. The hotel is located in a good spot for those going to Hollywood Bowl (less than a 10 minute drive away). Probably a little overpriced for what it is, but still a pretty decent hotel.
