Such a cute hotel. A bit outdated nothing fancy..But was clean and in a great location. Pool was heated which was nice too. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient for Universal and WB

Good stay, close to Universal and WB with a free shuttle you can book. Very convenient if you fly into Burbank. A little dated but clean and good service. No safe in the room we had (2 Queen Beds).

This was a great property. They had staff available all night, which is hard to find in the area if you're arriving late. We let them know we'd be arriving at 2:30 a.m. after flying in from Ohio, and the staff was there to check us in—super easy, even that late at night. The area felt safe, the room was clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. We loved the place; it had a sweet, classic feel and an awesome neon sign when you pull up. There's a bistro next door with a good breakfast, and it's super close to Universal Studios. The only thing is the parking lot is a little tight.

Great retro motel, perfectly situated.

We had a good stay. The place is well located for visiting universal studios and other LA attractions like Santee Alley and Griffith Observatory. One caveat: the pictures make it seem like there’s a bar and restaurant on site but those are actually located across the street, at the Coast Hotel proper. The shuttle to universal studios was great! We liked the references (photos, etc.) that showed all the movies that have featured scenes with The Safari. The old Safari sign is so cool-it lights up the pool at night.

So convenient, loved the shuttle to Universal Studios. Staff were so helpful. Rooms were very clean. Loved walking around the area with a grocery store, CVS, restaurants. Would stay again!
