Considering this hotel is advertised as an airport hotel, you would think that they would expect guests turning up all hours. We arrived at 4am, I had previously messaged the hotel to warn them. I had to pay an early check in fee for my booking and my daughter’s booking because they said that 4-5am was still considered the day before. So at £228 for 2 bookings I had to pay a further £40 on top of that. The rooms are dirty and the bedding smells of bedding that hasn’t been washed properly, they smell of previous bodies that slept in them. The breakfast would’ve been ok except we got down stairs for 8.50 to be told we had 10 minutes before they closed the buffet breakfast. Considering we’d had around 3-4 hrs sleep this was disgraceful as we had a 3yr old child with us.

Upon entering the property we were charged an early check in fee despite a family member letting them know we were arriving from the airport in the early hours of the morning. We went up into our room and the the odour of fustyness was so overwhelming, we had to keep the window open. When my daughter went into the bathroom, she stood on a screw that had fallen out of the door handle, the handle was barely attached to the door on the inside. Breakfast was ok but finished at 9.30 so we were in a rush to eat as we didn’t get to sleep until 5am.

Nightmare car park

Room fine but parking an absolute nightmare and reception not interested. Spaces too small and people illegally parked because of it made car parking v difficult so I would not stay here again

We stayed overnight as we were attending a football match in Old Trafford. Commute was really easy and straight forward due to the great location of the hotel. Don’t expect a fancy room, but the hotel has everything you’ll need to sleep and recharge. We arrived after 11pm so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the restaurant or bar, but seems like they have a lot of options based on what we could see and the menu found in the room. We will definitely consider this hotel again if we return to Manchester.

Our stay was good, room was very clean staff very friendly. I only had one problem is that I reserved and paid for a triple room as I have two teenage sons but I was giving a family room with double bed and single. The guy at the desk was helpful and did apologise for the mix up. We didn't get our triple room as they had gone but it did spoil our stay as I just put boys in the same bed for the nights we were staying

Not worth what was paid

Was very busy in Manchester, so prices were just way higher than they ever should be... Bath was only warm, room never cleaned in 3 nights... The bath wash dispenser was not working didnt get fixed 2 tiny towels didn't get changed again 3 nights beds were hard and load very difficult to sleep on. Looks like normal £60 so paying £160 a night was massively over price for this very tired hotel

I use this hotel all the time for business purposes, rather for flying from the airport, as it's located near to where I need to be. It's basic but comfortable. And I'm glad to see that WiFi is finally being offered for free.

Only if you have to!

Bit disappointed there wasn't a free shuttle i must have read it wrong and £12 each is ridiculous so we got a taxi. The 'buffet' was also disappointing, a pork chop and some mac n cheese with the poorest salad selection i have ever seen with a slice of 70s black forest gateaux for afters was not worth £15. We only stayed for our early flight and although I'm not saying i wouldn't stay again I'd definitely look elsewhere first.
