It was ok..strange layout as building had job centre incorporated in it. Parts of building smelt terrible. The beds were ok...no mattress protectors which is bad these days so slept on top of bedding..the room was hot so worked out well...the shower was scorching hot not cold going into so couldn't have a shower. No teaspoons in the room just sticks i asked at the desk for a teaspoon and was told they dont have any..even at the bar...ridiculous...later in the evening i asked a lovely man who was at the downstairs reception if he had a spoon and he went upstairs to the bar and got me one... we paid £2 per night for parking which is ok but on their on website it says free parking.. when i questioned this at the hotel he said that the google website was a fake, same person who wouldn't give me a spoon so who knows if thats true. All of the staff was polite and friendly so that was nice even if some didnt make sense lol.
Good stay, spotlessly clean room with the most friendly staff I’ve had at a hotel!
Only small niggles would be that the AC didn’t work in the room so a small fan was provided however this didn’t really help cool the room down. The pillows were also very thin and quite firm.
Stay altogether though was well worth the £30 I paid so no complaints!
The female receptionist was amazing and so helpful. My son required an emergency ambulance, and the receptionist acted so efficiently and effectively. Amazing lady! Being on level 6, we had to get the lift to either 7 and walk down one flight of stairs, or level 5 and walk up one. One of the beds was noisy due to being made up of metal springs and not very comfortable. The cleanliness was excellent and the water temperature, perfect.
Fantastic place to stay and great value for money.
Staff very friendly

Ran down building but nice rooms
Good little room. Clean and nicely refurbished. Beds could do with a better mattress, protective cover under bed sheet is needed.
Not very disabled friendly due to having to go up lift and the. Up or down the stairs one. Had to leave a card on tab for ‘damages’, parking is not free and costs £2 a night, not a secure carpark due to homeless walking about and drunks hanging around cars.
Dodgy building due to jobseekers at the bottom, had multiple occasions where there were people stood on stairs and hanging Around rooms. When going up the lift a strong smell of weed is lingering.
Breakfast is well worth the money, the guy at the entrance is welcoming, recommend the breakfast.
