Rooms are small. Hotel is a bit older so it does not have a new, contemporary feel if that’s what you’re looking for. I did not like that there were no drawers or dressers to unpack clothes for the duration of our stay. Living out of a suitcase for the week was the only option. Lastly, the restaurant and bar closed down at 10pm, even on Friday & Saturday nights. I am not a late night partier, by any means, but on vacation, in South Beach, Miami, it would have been nice to have a nightcap later than 10pm at the hotel bar. I, personally, will not stay here again, and would certainly not recommend it.

Property was well maintained and had such a personal touch, felt very special. My husband and I traveling had a wonderful time. They had reusable water bottles in the hotel room which could be refilled at the water stations next to the elevator, folding beach chairs that we could take right across the street to the beach, kind staff, especially the front desk. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

With no warning, when we arrived the elevator WAS NOT WORKING. The room assigned was on the THIRD FLOOR. I am 74 and my companion is 70. NO alternatives or compensation were offered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great location and movie history. The food is very good and service is very good and responsive. The walking on Ocean Drive is terrific. We knew the room would be small and it was, but the number one concern was, how noisy the in wall air conditioner was. In addition one of the two nights we stayed at the hotel, the power was out for 7 hours while transformer was replaced, so the elevator did not work and no AC or lighting. While management apologized for the inconvenience, I would have expected more than a free breakfast, as the work took place all night right outside our window and management knew this would be the case and still sold us the room.

A great boutique hotel on the beach. We arrived very early off a cruise ship and the staff kindly stored our luggage until our room was ready (a few hours sooner that the 3pm check-in). Staff were very welcoming and personable. I promised to give a shoutout to the Bartender Denise who was a pleasure to talk to and very engaging. Our room was clean, the AC was functional, and there were a couple of beach chairs available for our use in the closet. The hotel is in a great area with plenty of dining options available within the area, as well as in the hotel itself. We would stay here again.

This place is such a hidden gem, I hate for it to become too popular! Affordable, clean, one of the best locations on Ocean drive. Best key lime and cheesecake desserts on Ocean drive. And the grouper was amazing.
