The view from our sea view deluxe suite balcony was amazing. Would not recommend getting a room with a view facing the highway. Extremely noisy on that side. Hot tub in room would not drain properly. Weird holes and cracks in the ceiling. Food was not good. The nearest KFC was the best thing to eat. The juzzis poolside were not heated and the pool was only open until 6pm which was absolutely ridiculous for an adults only resort. Staff were hit or miss. Some were really cool and helpful and some were just plain rude for no reason. Overall it was an okay trip, but if you want a better resort quality trip I'd stay away from Jamaica altogether.

Review of Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay Jamacia , Mar 29-April5, 2025 Overall 6/10 Positives Beautiful setting, very well maintained property. Staff constantly working. Very friendly and professional staff – always with a smile. Probably the friendliest staff of any resort I have ever visited. Quality of the food was very good at the buffets, although variety was redundant Room Service, if scheduled in advance is very prompt. Scuba diving off shore of the resort is fantastic and needs to be promoted more. Negatives Total lack of communications about events around the ENTIRE resort; App was pretty useless for that purpose Names of the “theaters” were not clearly marked on any signage or App map Welcome and orientation to the resort was pretty much non existent other than rapid fire highlights given while being escorted to the room. Who could possibly remember most of the information after an exhausting travel day. No maps or brochures or information of any kind provided in the room. Total lack of communication about which included restaurants were open and when. The “Village” was mostly empty stores and a complete waste. The huge “Food Market” , not included on any restaurant list was only open for breakfast. No snack bar available between meals The supposed “Official” Jamacia tourism people in the lobby are a joke and a rip off. No real cultural experiences promoted and when asked for something cultural you are sent by cab (driver who really had no grasp of Jamaican

I stayed in this resort from 3/8/25-3/12/25. My husband and I stood in room 25615. It is currently 8:43pm on 3/12/25. At the airport my husband and I realized money was missing from our bags. I know this FOR SURE because I brought my own money and didn’t spend a dime. My husband paid for EVERYTHING! This is extremely upsetting due to the fact that we were lovely to all the employees and tipped every staff member that helped us between $10-$20 USD DAILY! This is highly unacceptable! I have $60USD missing from my money and my husband has $480USD missing from his money. Had your staff not taken the $60 out of my wallet my husband and I would have never noticed that anything was missing. AGAIN, I did not pay for anything during my stay there. My husband paid for everything which confirms that we were robbed at your resort. I did not pull my wallet out of my luggage at all during my stay there. Upon telling my husband about it, he counted his money and was missing $480. There were multiple staff members in our room while we were not there. A cleaning lady and the man who restocks the mini fridge on 3/9, the person who brought the birthday champagne bottle on 3/8, the person who set up the surprise birthday rose petals on our bed while we were at our dinner on 3/11 and probably more! Again, as pleasant stayers and generous people to YOUR staff this is highly unprofessional!

To I ms were spacious and clean. The food was really good for such a large resort. Very relaxing and beautiful resort. We played tennis and the tennis courts surface was slick and the racquets and balls were ancient! It was also challenging to figure out which elevators worked, but we made it into a game so was kind of fun.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in all of my traveling. The check-in was a disaster and took an hour and a half. They initially stated that the room that we booked was not available, tried to upsell us to an upgrade to obtain the room we booked. Half of the restaurants were not open, the food was not good, and they are not allergy friendly. The spa was also a terrible experience. The staff were not friendly, not welcoming and actually extremely rude. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff and food were excellent. The resort needs some updating. The elevators didn't always function. One pool was closed for repair during our stay. All the restaurants on our second week were not open as apparently guest numbers were down from our first week.

Long walk anywhere you go on the property, nowhere to eat besides buffets, most the food is cold, , could not get any reservations at the nice restaurants because they were all booked up as soon as we got there , the all inclusive is a joke, they don’t put hardly any alcohol in the free drinks , and only certain drinks are free. Bottom shelf stuff. Everything extra including rides off resort cost an arm and a leg until you complain, then they find you a cheaper ride. Bahia principe at runaway bay gets a thumbs down from me. I will Never go back.
