Room was OK. It had been updated in recent years but cleaning was below average. The bathroom floor needed a good mopping, hair in and around the tub and carpet could use a vacuuming. There was no handsoap at the sink so had to use the shower bodywash as a quick fix. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Our location was on the backside of the hotel on the ground floor in an alleyway with parking right in front of the room door.

We loved staying in Anacortes and the price was reasonable. The lumberyard across the street was noisy early in the morning and breakfast/coffee were offered too late to be useful. Thankfully there were good coffee places nearby and the rooms were very spacious.

It was next to a lumber yard, however accessible to DT Anacortes and Bellair Shuttle service if you’re using their services. It was safe with options of Safeway, dining, and fast food. The room was clean, offers microwave and fridge, newer furniture and vanity in the bathroom. Breakfast starts at 9am, which is kind of late in my opinion for most travelers.

Despite the online pics, the place is next to a lumber yard that blocks any views of the water. There is nothing remarkable to add to the convenience of being in a town near the San Juan ferry. The toilet paper roll dispenser was broken, there was peeling calking on every counter and there were a total of five facial tissues available for use before the box ran empty. The whole place had a sad vibe and was poorly built and outfitted! There were also zero housecleaning services! Upon returning from San Juan Island later in the evening on a Saturday night, our electronic key did not work and there was nobody present to set it right and we had to sleep in the car until 9:00am the next morning before being able to retrieve our things. When we brought our concerns to the staff, we were told that because we paid through Expedia that there was nothing they could do to make amends. Save yourself from this, people! It sucks!
