Royal Garden Resort 811 - Oceanfront in Garden City Beach

The Royal Garden Resort HOA is currently in the process of repairing and waterproofing the exterior of the building on the ocean side. This process will begin on September 2, 2025 and continue throughout the remainder of the year. This process involves construction activities on the facades and balconies of the condominiums and may temporarily limit the use of the building's amenities and possible loss of access to the balcony. It also involves the use of loud machinery during working hours, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM. The work will begin on the 15 “stack” (units ending in the number 15) and will proceed to lower numbers as each stack is completed; however, we don't know how long each stack will take or when the work will be performed on any other stacks. Please contact us if you have any questions, and we'll do our best to answer them for you.

Royal Garden Resort is located 0.7 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This 16-story oceanfront complex offers convenient amenities including three elevators, coin-operated laundry onsite, complimentary Wi-Fi, outdoor grills, and a parking garage. Relax in one of the lounging chairs on the expansive sundeck or go for a swim in one of the resort pools, which are open year-round. Royal Garden Resort features indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and even kiddie pools! An onsite beach bar and grill offers food and drinks. If you want to feel the sand beneath your toes, you are only steps away from the beach. Pack your bags and come on down and stay where there's something for the whole family to enjoy! Two parking permits are issued per unit. Garage clearance is 6ft, 8in. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, trailers, recreational vehicles, golf carts, and pets are not permitted. LIMITED PARKING FOR OVERSIZED VEHICLES.

Very clean. Can’t beat oceanfront view.

You will need to exercise patience when arriving on a Saturday since everyone and their mothers are trying to load up carts and wait on elevators but it did get better throughout the week. Met some great people that are owners!

Great location but Loud Music and Fireworks Late into Night

The property itself was lovely. Kitchen was nicely stocked and room for 2 of us to move around easily. Main bedroom & bathroom were nicely sized. The second bedroom was quite small and hard to move around the other side of the bed. Having a washer/dryer in the property was GREAT!! View from the balcony was spectacular. Chairs on the balcony were awesome. Maintenance was working on one elevator to make it go to ground level and the other two seemed to be tied up constantly so add some extra wait time if you can’t climb the stairs or are on a time schedule. Parking deck is VERY tight but we always found a parking spot that we didn’t have to walk extensive lengths to get to. Overall, the late-night (after 11 PM-12 AM) fireworks erupting in our face and landing on the balcony and loud music dampened our fun evenings but we enjoyed our stay!!
