Renovation Dust

The hotel was being renovated during my stay. There was hammering until 6pm each evening and I had to request to change rooms due to the noise during the day. The public corridors were not cleaned once during my 3 night stay and were full of construction dust and debris. Construction materials and other hotel furniture were stored in the public corridors, which has to be a violation with the fire department. If there were a fire, I never would have been able to get out of the building.

This is the 3rd year i have stay at this hotel. This year they were renovating. Not a big issues, however it would have been nice to have been notifed of this before arriving. The TV in our room had no sound, we called the front desk and she came up and tried to get it working, she was unsuccessful. She said she would do some checking and would get back with us, she never did. We called the next day for some one to fix it. They never did. We also requested sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa bed, never received them. The front desk staff was very nice and check in was a breeze. Just those few minor details that were a problem.

Under renovation. Should not be open to guests. Areas are not clear to walk. Carpet rolls, furniture and stock just sitting out. Staff understood our concern. We tried 2 rooms but both had damage. Hotel issued refund and we booked another place to stay. Place will be nice come December when work is complete.

This will be a very nice hotel once the renovations are complete. The site doesn’t mention it is undergoing renovations otherwise I wouldn’t have booked but despite the light noise right across from my room and the unfinished carpeting the hotel and amenities were very good. The pool was the bonus. The kids loved it.

Best Western in Antioch is Simply the Best

This was my second time staying at the Best Western, and once again, it exceeded expectations. This visit was for a very personal and emotional reason—my aunt’s funeral. Despite the circumstances, the kindness and hospitality of the staff brought great comfort. The Bahamian front desk attendant was especially warm, friendly, and professional, and the rest of the team was just as polite and accommodating. Several of my family members also stayed here, and we all shared the same wonderful experience. The service was top-notch, and even with renovations happening during our stay, everything was still clean, organized, and fabulous. I had previously stayed here last year for an event, and that experience was just as great. The consistency in service and attention to detail is truly appreciated. The continental breakfast was another highlight—clean, fresh, and delicious every single morning. Thank you, Best Western, for your continued excellence and for making a difficult time a bit more comforting with your care and professionalism. We’ll definitely return again.
