Cozy Cottage Wooded Retreat

Our Cottage is surrounded by woods and wildlife , it is very quiet and peaceful. You can drive 30 minutes to downtown Nashville ( if normal traffic) and The Grand Ole Opry. We are only minutes from shopping ,with many great restaurants, and a movie theater at The Streets of Indian Lake in Hendersonville TN. We are only 15 minutes to Old Hickory Lake for some of the best fishing in the state. Or maybe you would rather hang at the cottage and cook your own food. We have 60 inch TV with Wifi and Roku in both TV's. Our Cottage is furnished with all you need to cook, except for the food. There is a gas grill. A great coffee station, With a Kuering coffee maker with pods, also a Mr Coffee with a grinder. We live separate house on the same property. The Cozy Cottage is our guest house. We want to make your stay as comfy as possible! There is a high Quality King Size mattress and TV in the Huge master bedroom. We have central Air Conditioning/Heat Pump. Once our guest leave we replace ALL bed linens and wash all rugs and towels!! I am a clean fanatic!! We treat others how we would want to be treated,please do the same! NO PETS ALLOWED!!! $200 charge if any sign of smoking inside is found.ABSOLUTELY NO illegal DRUGS of any kind. . Our cottage is for 2 Guest ONLY! 1 guest must be 25 years or older

Stunning Getaway

This was hands-down the best VRBO we've ever stayed at- we didn’t want to leave! The cottage is the perfect little getaway, nestled in the woods and surrounded by nature. Even though it’s just a short distance behind the main house, it felt incredibly private. We only saw the host when we accidentally locked ourselves out, and they were so friendly and responsive.The decor was spot-on, perfectly matching the Nashville and farm vibe- cozy, stylish, and full of charm. The living room was adorable, the bathroom was spotless and just right, and the bedroom had the most comfortable king bed ever. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The cottage was literally perfect. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

The perfect getaway!

The Cozy Cottage was so adorable and the perfect getaway for my spouse and I! It is Nestled on top of a hill, surrounded by breath taking views of nature. Peaceful and relaxing to say the least.

Perfect!

Beautiful and quiet location in the country, but still close to town. When you walk in the door you'll feel like you're home. Wild turkeys and deer roam freely around the property. The hosts are so kind and were quick to answer any questions we had. Everything you need for your stay is provided. If it isn't here, you don't need it - lol! Would definitely stay here again.

Truly a Cozy Cottage!

From the moment you walk you, you feel at home and at peace. The home is very well kept and very comfortable. The best part was simply the peace and quiet you get while you are here. Perfect place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of a city. The owners were wonderfully quick with any questions we had as well. If we come back to that area, we will be wanting to stay again.

Quiet Retreat for the Soul

If I could give 10 stars I would. The owners attention to detail and cleanliness made us feel so comfortable there. Perfect little cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. The hosts are great and answer any questions quickly. The cottage had everything that our family needed for our stay. Loved the location and being able to see all the wildlife on our daily drives. Definitely recommend this cottage!

One of the best properties I have stayed in. Super clean, everything you will need in the kitchen too cook as I did a few times. 15 minutes from town, close too a beautiful lake that we did get too enjoy, Owners are amazing. The Coziest Cottage

A Vrbo to the top of the list.Besides the property,cleanlyness,well stocked with everything and location, the HOSTS were amazing!!!!!When we go back to see family,it will be under the contintionsy we can stay here.

Great place to spend a few days, close to everything you need and attractions. Very clean hosts were friendly and helpful even with the weather it was a pleasant experience. First time staying in a place like that usually just stay in hostels, but this was a much better experience.

Better than a hotel

This was the perfect stay. Upon arrival everything was warm and inviting. From the welcome sign with our names on it to the little snacks and mints, we felt welcome. It was charmingly decorated with a Southern feel. This house was loaded with small staple pantry items which was much appreciated. There were small bathroom items in case you forgot something. We are a family of four and there were plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows. We loved the extra room to store our belongings for our nine day stay. There was a large closet to hang dresses and coats and a huge dresser for other items. The bathroom had huge drawers for bathroom storage. There was a washer and dryer which was helpful to keep up with laundry. The king bed was amazing. We slept so well we are now looking into buying a new mattress for our bed at home. The little couch in the bedroom folds down into a small bed for our toddler. There were plenty of pots and pans and dishes for cooking and a dishwasher for cleaning up. Cleaning supplies were available for cleaning up. We enjoyed many nights by the fire in the living room watching movies on the comfy couch. My kids also enjoyed the kids toys, books, playscape, swings, zip line, and running around this peaceful wooded property. We even spotted deer. Although the owners did live on the property, they were very respectful at giving us privacy but also thoughtful about checking in with us before, after, and during our stay and were very responsive when a need did arise. They were super friendly and thoughtful preparing the house to be childproof before our arrival and turning on the lights and a/c so things were ready. The whole house was super clean (I am a dental hygienist and am super ADD about things being clean and sanitary.) I would say that this rental was the cleanest one we have ever stayed at. Since our little ones still crawl around on the floor we always notice things others do not. Under the furniture was even cleaned and the floors were immaculate. All the dishes and towels were clean and inside the cabinets and drawers were too. Everything was free of dust and grim and nothing looked overly worn out, which is quite impressive seeing that this rental has been rented out pretty often for many years now according to the reviews. So things have been well maintained. The house even smelled good!! I would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to return again next year when we travel back to Nashville.

Relaxing cottage in natural setting

The hosts were wonderful and live on the property. We found the property even better than described with cozy cottage very well stocked. The peaceful, serene setting was full of deer and other wildlife. Our only regret is that we had a full agenda and didn’t have a lot of downtime to just relax in this beautiful place. Will definitely rent again if we are back in the area!

LOVED the Cozy Cottage

We LOVED our stay at the Cozy Cottage!! Joe and Melody were perfect hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay the best! If you are looking for serene and peaceful, this is it! It is only a half-hour drive to Nashville, so you get the best of both worlds, relaxing stay at the cottage with the wonderful life of Nashville, just a short drive away. The cottage was super clean and very welcoming! Has great WiFi and all ammenities you could possibly need. We would 100% stay here again!

Amazing cabin in the woods!

Absolutely gorgeous, inside and out! Perfect! Owners have thought of every minor detail! Perfect for kids as well as adults! Swing set, slide, zip line, tire swing and awesome tree swing! Couldn’t have found a better place to stay!

Relax and getaway

We love this property ! This is our second visit and we are returning in Feb. The owners are very responsive and easy to communicate with.. The property is so cute and nicely decorated . Very clean . In a beautiful seculded location . Away from the hustle & bustle of the city . We just can't say enough good things. Perfect place to escape , rest , and recharge. Ample space for couples. The bed is extremely comfortable . Location is easy to get to.

Country living

This beautiful setting is 20 to 30 minutes away from Nashville Tn. And that was perfect for my Husband and I. The wild turkey, deer and red-headed wood pickers from the back porch. Our host were FANTASTIC! Everything was do clean and smelled amazing. We will tell friends about this place. ☆☆☆☆☆
