Welcome to "Adagio," a musical term meaning "leisurely" tempo. Surrounded by woods and wildlife, come relax and unwind in this peaceful location nestled between two of the South's most charming small towns - the eclectic, artsy town of Leiper's Fork and historic downtown Franklin. Nashville is just 25 miles away. Guests have full access to the 3 bedroom cottage and walking trails on the 32 acre property.
Drive down a peaceful tree-lined road to get away from the hustle and bustle at this cozy retreat - near enough to town where you don't feel isolated yet far enough away to truly relax. All this while still having easy access to the charming towns and amenities nearby.
Go off-site and explore Civil War landmarks, find treasures at the antique shops in downtown Franklin, enjoy live music and food trucks at the Saturday morning farmer's market at the Factory, see what's playing at the beautifully restored historic Franklin Theater. Discover new talent at open mic nights at Puckett's in Leiper's Fork, and take the scenic Natchez Trace parkway to the Loveless Cafe for the best of Southern homemade cooking.

We loved our stay here! The house and location are great. Close enough to town for all of the day to day activities, but far enough out to “unplug.” Sally and Tim were such great hosts, and out boys loved feeding the donkeys and seeing the other animals on the property. We are already planning our next visit!

It was perfectly stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The laundry was good. Even though one bathroom, it was big. Sally and Tim were super friendly and responsive. It was so peaceful and test close to restaurants and grocery stores. We had an absolute wonderful time. We enjoyed meeting the Donets and dogs-super friendly !

Franklin & Pilgrimage Festival

Connecting with nature

This property is about 12 minutes from downtown Franklin. Easy to get to, private, and lush greenery in the back. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the birds and visiting the donkeys next door. Thanks Sally for a lovely stay.

Franklin / Leipers Fork Retreat

Fantastic place! Sally and Tim made this a wonderful getaway retreat. Great location, close to everything but you felt like your were 100 miles from anyone. So peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be back and would recommend the property to anyone interested in this area.

Relaxing Stay in the Country

My wife and I loved our peaceful getaway. The location is perfect being a very close drive to both Leipers Fork and downtown Franklin. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. The bird watching on the front porch this time of year (April) is amazing! We'll definitely be back!

Relaxing Country Getaway

Wonderful Property!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed; we loved staying there both times and look forward to staying there again.
