AnJ Bed and Breakfast, family friendly, quiet country setting.

We are located one mile off route 23, in a country setting located right in the Amish/Mennonite community. We are just minutes from the towns of Bird-In-Hand, Intercourse and Strasburg.
We have a 1100 square foot air-conditioned basement apartment, with a private ground level entrance. A large lawn and swing set for the children to enjoy.
Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, silverware and utensils.
A spacious dining room and living room with two deluxe queen sofa beds.
A bedroom with a queen size bed, and a pack and play available.
A bathroom with a 36x36 walk in shower.
A large lawn and swing set for the children to enjoy.
A 12x18 patio with fire pit / grilling rack and table and chairs.
Gas grill.
Water fountain, string lights, portable fire pit, with lots of free firewood.
Riding toys / bikes for children to enjoy on our driveway and lawn.

Excellent and Peaceful Getaway

A and J was truly a wonderful experience for our whole family. Check-In was clearly communicated. The entire place was clean, warm and inviting. Our kids loved the swing, bikes and basketball hoop they had access too. We also loved all the breakfast options that were available. The outdoor space was amazing with such a beautiful view. We will definitely be staying here again.

Mennonite stay

Beautiful property, gracious owners, won't stay in a basement apartment again though. It was dark and felt a little depressed after a couple of days. I would have loved to look out windows to see the views.

A trip to Pennsylvania from Charleston, South Carolina.

This is a clean, lovely, cozy, inviting basement apartment. Warm personal touches are everywhere. Outside are rocking chairs and a glider and an amazing view Amish country, and for those with children, there's a lovely playset. The hosts were warm and responsive to my questions. I wish we could have stayed much longer!

Great and relaxing stay in Lancaster area

We had a great stay. Aaron and Janice's place is clean, and comfortable, and their yard is very relaxing with great views of surrounding farms. Highly recommended!

Wonderful retreat

The location of Janice and Aaron's is central to many Lancaster County activities. The view from the backyard swing is beautiful. We visited during a heat spell and the apartment was cool and comfortable. It has a cozy decor and the quilt on the bed is georgeous. My only regret is that we never met Janice to tell her in person.

We got the property after a long day. The beds were turned down and waiting for us. the kids ran outside while I got dinner together. We enjoyed dinner at the picnic table, listening to the fountain. Everyone slept soundly. In the morning we were rested and headed out. Everything was clean, tidy, accessible and welcoming. Thank you so much for your genorosity of snacks.

Beautiful place to stay.

This is our second time here for my husband and I. This time we brought our grandkids. They loved playing outside. A truly enjoyable place to stay!! Close to Sight and Sound and that’s a bonus.

Quiet Country Setting

My father and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend a family reunion close by. This was perhaps the most well stocked place I’ve stayed. The kitchen included available breakfast items and delicious coffee! Thanks Aaron and Janice for providing this ‘home away from home’ for us to enjoy our time in PA. We would definitely stay here again.

QUIET with a country/farm setting.

It was a very quiet place, almost too quiet but we were only there to sleep so that wasn’t an issue. No television was hard to get used to but otherwise everything was perfect for our needs. Easy access to just about anywhere you wanted to go.

The home was fully stocked with everything we needed including great breakfast materials. The host was super helpful with our accessibility needs. The property is well suited for a wheelchair, including a power chair. We loved the outdoor amenities as well!

Beautiful countryside

Very nice and quiet because it was off the main roads. It was less than 5 miles away from the auction we go to so it was easy to get there and back. We’ll probably go there again next year if it’s available.
