Loved my old room. I could walk everywhere. Oddly, it was quiet. Staff was amazing. The only thing I didn't like was that I was charged a little bit of money for things I brought to their attention that was missing in the room and then a bag of chips that was soft and stale. I even took photos. They still charged me for them.

Loved the location, common areas, and staff. The hotel is in a very nice area that was safe and close to all of the main attractions. The overall vibe of the hotel was so fun! Staff were super kind and helpful. We had an interior queen room. It was nice and the bed was fine. It was a bit muggy at times, though the AC and fan helped to some extent. The walls were thin. We unfortunately had some loud neighbors. Never bad enough to notify staff though. We had some strange occurrences, like a light going on by itself and a feeling of someone else being there. After researching the property this isn't uncommon. Never felt negative, just a bit spooky. Possibly part of the area though! It wouldn't deter me from staying there again.

I’ve hesitated to submit a review, but decided I had to say something. First of all - I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful on-site restaurant, Compere Lapin. My husband and I dined there several years ago and they did not disappoint this recent trip. The food, the ambience, and service were all fantastic! I wish I could say the same about the hotel. We booked in July for a 4 night stay in October. When we arrived - it was an hour before normal check-in and we were offered a first floor room - 100 or 101- that was damp and musty smelling. I returned to the desk and said we would come back during regular check-in hours but was told nothing else would be available. Honestly, the woman at the desk was not very friendly or helpful from the start. I doubt she tried very hard to find anything else. Feeling as if we had no other options we stayed. The room smelled worse the longer we were in it. After stepping on the damp carpet, we opted to avoid walking barefoot at all costs. I went to the desk the next day and a different staff person moved us to another room. I’m still shocked that the hotel allowed anyone to stay in the first room we had. Can I say absolutely that it was moldy, unhealthy? No, but it was damp and had an awful odor as soon as you walked in. I booked well in advance. There is no reason that we should have been given a room that should have been off-line.
