I liked this hotel. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Walkable to the fun area in NOLA. I am giving it 4 stars because of the bathroom. The shower was made for failure. Why in the world you put half glass door and when taking shower, all the water comes out to the floor. Plus the floor is wood and it is a disaster. Other than that, I liked the room because it is a studio style apartment. It has dishes, dishwasher, cookware, etc. Room was clean. Although the rug had some stains. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

I really enjoyed this property a lot. From the 1st day to the 5th day, all of the front desk staff were great. Kierra was professional and great. I would recommend this property to anyone.

One particularly rude receptionist

The experience was pitiful, the entire gym was broken. Literally every single gym equipment was broken, including the water machine. I asked about a late checkout through their upgrade offers email and was told that I would get a decision at time of check in. Not only did I not get a confirmation upon check in but i was told on the day before leaving that I was unable to get one from another employee who stopped the front desk receptionist from even checking if it was possible or even if I could get a smaller extension. Now I was willing to pay whatever they asked for the late check out and i am fully aware that i am not owed one but I would expect some willingness to check if it was possible and a timely decision so i can make some contingency plans. The receptionists overall are great but there's a particular one who seemed to make it a mission to make our stay as awful as possible. Very disappointing and I promise to stay away from this brand for all my travel needs.

Loved the hotel

Quite noisy and we also got woken up in the morning asking us to exit building through the stairway as there was some emergency. When we got to the reception area, the staff were unaware of what was happening.

Great location for visit to NOLA

Perfect "apartment" base for us to visit the French Quarter. The Loyola Ave location was great to walk to all sites. Easy pick ups by Uber and Lift. Fully stocked free breakfast helped with our trip budget. Very friendly staff.

Everything was great, staff was very welcoming and friendly, room was large and vuewa were nice we stayed on the 14th floor, breakfast was good and had something for everyone, short walk to Bourbon St, very close to the hop on hop off tour bus stop, just about everthing Frenchman St, Cafe Du Monde etc etc is with a 20 minute or less walk. Will be back in June!

Room was great but the window directly faced another hotel four feet away, so we had to keep windows closed. Hotel floors are weathered and cleaning crew does great. My bathtub wouldn't drain so we had to take 1 min showers so we won't have standing water in the tub (room 510). Parking a setup because we got booted because my 24 hrs lapsed a couple hours prior ($30 $120 boot removal). Didn't have luggage carts to bring my items in (for two days). Overall, if you like Sonesta go to the NOLA Convention location because its way nicer.

This was my 1st trip to Nola for the Mardi Gras. It was a different experience. My only concern was the food prices. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay.

I really appreciated the Great Hospitality of the staff. They was so nice and welcoming. Kiara at the front desk was almost like family before I left. Very sweet person. They all greeted me coming and going. My tub was stopped up and they sent maintenence right on up to fix it. He even was nice. I will definitely be staying there for now own. Best Hotel stay ever..
