Our stay at the Hotel St. Marie was lovely. The hotel is very nice and the room was very comfortable. We had an inner courtyard room with a balcony looking out over the pool area. It was nice to sit out there in the morning with a book and just enjoy the breeze. The staff was very friendly and personable and took good care of us.
The hotel is about a block up towards Rampart St. from Bourbon. Despite the proximity to Bourbon it was quiet there at all hours. It was very convenient to anywhere in the French Quarter with Jackson Square, Pirates alley and everything being within a few minutes walk. Would definitely look to stay there again on future visits!

We found the staff and service to be terrific. Helpful and responsive. This isn't the fault of the hotel but the fact that the road in front (Toulouse) leads into Bourbon means that you get loud cars (blasting music) quite late. That was a bummer but only was a real issue one night.

I stayed here 3 years ago and was so impressed that I had to select this hotel again for this visit. All associates are so very nice and helpful! I like that I can get all my meals at this location if so desired. I like the location in regards to being in the Quarter as well as being so close to Canal Street and the Super Dome and many other attractions that are of interest to me. I will stay here again on my next visit. It's comforting to stay somewhere familiar. Thank you Hotel St. Marie!

The staff at this property were so friendly and helpful from the receptionist at the desk checking us in to the porter that took us to our room, and also the bar staff and kitchen were also so awesome. I would definitely book this place again in the future. In addition I had a bad situation where I lost something in a cab that was very important for my travel and the bellman/porter Gerome was so helpful in getting it back for me. He went up and above what I would have expected in this situation and he was so great and gracious!! Thanks again to all the staff and wonderful people at this hotel!

Hotel is in about in the best location for what we wanted to do. Valet parking in the covered, on-location garage, (pass the hotel sign and the driveway is on the left), was perfect. Valet drivers/managers were excellent- very friendly and efficient. Pool/Pool courtyard was very pleasant- there is a pool towel cart by the door as you go into the courtyard, (we had to ask to find it). Room was fine, but next time we'd be sure to get a balcony room. Cafe for coffee was late opening as three guests waited, and we were told that the cafe person was probably in the kitchen- they did eventually come- around $4.00 per regular coffee. Prices in the grab and go were high- in our opinion. A bottle of water w/tax- $3.85. BUT, there are many shops etc...close by to get coffee, waters, etc.. Front desk agents were a bit salty, except for the gentleman who checked us out. All front desk services/questions were done from a sitting position which felt awkward. Overall, we would stay here again. Location, location, location!
