We are proud to offer you our circa 1850 stone farmhouse. This historic Pennsylvania home has a private setting in the heart of southern Lancaster County's Amish country. In fact, many of the neighboring farms belong to Amish families. It is situated on a immaculate 50 acre sirene horse farm which offers you the unique ability to experience the tranquility of the country without giving up any of the modern conveniences you rely on. Relax pool side while watching peacefully grazing horses at pasture or listening to the brisk cadence of Amish buggies rolling by. Enjoy the experience of a leisurely walk through the landscape of the farm where you can glean a true appreciation of authentic country living. This stunning farmhouse boasts many modern conveniences such as 4 large TVs, high-speed Internet, 2 huge master bedrooms with their own private baths, plus the 3rd full bath was totally remodeled in 2022. The 18 foot shady, screened porch and comfortable furnishings will assure your enjoyment while also satisfying your desire for the simplicities of country life. Property was beautiful. The pool wasn't open which was disappointing for our children, and I have never rented a vrbo where you had to bring your own linens or pay extra if they provide them, So be aware of that when you book.

The Perfect Place

A Stay Near Lancaster

The hostess was kind, considerate, and gracious. The property is gorgeous and comfortable. And the pool was a big hit with the grandchildren. It was so enjoyable we are considering requesting a two week stay next summer.

The absolute best home we have ever rented for so many reasons. Stunning grounds , horses to enjoy , goats to meet , fire pit , gazebo by the pool ., etc . Most importantly, the historic farm home was incredibly beautiful and accommodating, with exquisite country decor .Very large with room enough for our big family. Kids enjoyed exploring the amazing property..Host provided everything that you would need , including a beautiful welcome basket of goodies. Hosts were amazing and entire rental process was perfect. We hated to leave but will definitely rent again.

Beyond expectations

This home exceeded my expectations. The location was centrally located to all attractions in the Lancaster area. The horse farm was gorgeous and seeing the horses in the morning with a cup of coffee a great addition to the day. I will definitely be back with grandkids.

Gorgeous Property

This is our second year staying at this property, and it continues to exceed expectations. The home is beautiful, the kitchen large and well-equipped, and the pool area(where we spent most of our time), perfect. The house is close enough to everything in the area (Lancaster, Strasburg, etc.), but still feels like you are on your own private farm. Wanda and Lyndsay are great hosts, easy to communicate with, and always accessible if you need anything.

Family vacation

The vacation home was perfect for a large family group vacation. The spacious kitchen was one of our favorite rooms to gather and share conversations, while preparing meals. Of course all enjoyed the pool! When we had some rainy days, everyone seemed to find things to do; enjoying arts and crafts in the sun porch, playing games at the extra large dining table or just relaxing with family in the living room and family room. We definitely give this vacation family farm house a 5 STAR rating.

Awesome weekend l

We spent a weekend there with family. Our daughter was getting married at a near by venue. It was perfect !! Close to the venue and all our near by activities. Would highly recommend this property.
