There are so many activities to choose from at this expansive resort. As premium members, we can offer guests 2-for-1 greens fees on the challenging golf courses, 2-for-1 massages at the two spas on site (or in your room!), and exclusive VIP access to the newly opened gondola which circles the Vidanta resort and soon-to-be opened Vidanta World.
During the day choose to relax in a cabana at the exclusive beach club with its own pool, swim or paddleboard in the Pacific Ocean, shop in exciting boutiques, or go on an excursion off site -- snorkeling, sailing, or exploring historic areas. Concierge services are available to help decide your exciting day. On our first trip to our Vidanta resort, we went off site several times and had amazing experiences. But on our second trip, we relaxed by the infinity pool with drinks and food most days and evenings found us sipping wine and dancing to live music with the sound of the ocean in the background -- low key, and one of our best vacations ever! There are myriad award-winning restaurants and bars across the resort, including swim up pool bars, international cuisine, and live shows nightly at different venues. ACCOMODATIONS: GRAND LUXXE TWO-BEDROOM MASTER VILLA.
This beautiful corner suite features two balconies, two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed, the other with two double beds), each with a private bathroom/Jacuzzi tub, plus a half bath; two living areas with sleeper sofas, four TVs, kitchenette, dining area and breakfast bar, full length balcony (with separated area for master bedroom) and your own plunge pool, lounge chairs, table and chairs, and a second balcony.
GOLF: Three challenging courses await you and your golfing buddies at Nuevo Vallarta.
1) The Nayar Courseâplay this championship 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicholson and host to the Mexican Open (April 27-30, 2023) during your stay. The recent renovation of this course was recognized by Golf Inc. Magazine as the Renovation of the Year in 2022. It boasts 49 bunkers and 7 lakes, yet can be taken on by low to high handicap golfers. 2) The Norman Signature Courseâlocated at the resort, this 18-hole championship course winds along the Ameca River with views of the Sierra Madres in the distance. The wide landing areas lead to spacious but challenging greens protected by 55 bunkers and 6 lakes.
3) The Lakesâthis walkable 10-hole, par 3 course winds through the resort, an enjoyable, scenic course and convenient for evening play as well, being lit at night
All three courses have putting greens, short course practice, caddie service, equipment rentals, and a pro shop, with lit driving ranges (open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
In addition, the new Vidanta Golf Academy next to The Lakes course offers up-to-the-minute technology and training to help you improve your game, while the Golf Simulator allows you and your friends to experience playing your favorite course worldwide--200 different courses in all.
POOLS: over 30 gorgeous pools (several exclusive to Grand Luxe guests), each with unique views and features, such as an infinity edge, slide and lazy river, ocean or rooftop setting, whirlpools, cabanas available, etc. Food and beverage service is available at the pools, including swim up bars at several locations.
BEACH: beautiful white sand beach all along the ocean side, cabanas and lounging chairs with food and drink service; exclusive use of the beach club for Grand Luxe guests. Equipment for snorkeling, paddleboarding, and other activities are available.
SPAS: Our guests enjoy 2-for-1 massage privileges, with two beautiful full service spas on site. Many expected and exotic treatment options are offered for your health and wellness. Work out on various fitness equipment available for your use as well.
DINING & EVENING ENTERTAINMENT: even staying two weeks, you will not be able to exhaust the dining options available at this resort, which boasts wide variety of options from food halls, casual to fine dining and various bars and lounges--venues where you can relax, listen to live music every evening, dance, or even give karaoke a try. The restaurants vary in price from moderate to high, some with special gourmet events and/or theme nights requiring advance reservations. You can relax at Gong (up scale Asian dining) or La Cantina (traditional Mexican fare in a casual setting) while watching the nightly Light and Fountain show at The Lake. Take out and room service are also available and there is grocery shopping on site as well.
Santuario, a sprawling 75,000-square-foot, indoor-outdoor entertainment pavilion, offers a nightly lineup of acts for the whole family, including acrobatics, dance performances, musical acts, sand artists, and more. The beautiful beach setting of Salum offers various evening music performances while sipping the cocktail-of-the-day, tasting various Mexican foods, and enjoying stunning ocean views.
KIDS CLUB: two locations offer activities and oversight for children 5-12 years of age. They can play in the water and enjoy fun activities while you relax for a while or enjoy more adult entertainment. There are also scheduled theme evenings for them at extra cost.
GETTING AROUND: shuttles facilitate your travel to various locations at the resort; shuttle routes take you to from the central transportation stop to locations on the property. Or wander through the lush jungle setting at your leisure: wooden walking paths wind throughout the resort, affording views of local wildlife, especially many species of birds. There is also a sea turtle sanctuary on the beach. Vidanta strives to preserve natural habitats in and around the resort and has won accolades from several different ecological organizations for their efforts to maintain wildlife.
In addition, our membership has VIP gondola privileges to ride on the newly opened around the resort and to the soon-to-be-opened first phase of Vidanta World amusement/theme park. At the moment there are 3 stops in the resort and 2 at the park.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: The Joy Club plans activities each day at various locations around the resort. These range from simple Spanish lessons, cooking classes, trivia contests and more. It is important to download the Vidanta App during your stay to find a map, activity schedules, live music, restaurants, shuttle and walking routes, and much more.
