Everything was exactly as described and fully equipped — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for morning walks with my dog. As a single mother traveling with two children and a dog, the space was ideal. It was the perfect stay — quiet, comfortable, and just right for our needs.

Me, my husband, and my Aunt stayed here to accomplish my Aunts bucklist. We were so impressed by the home that it exceeded our expectations!! It was very clean, quiet, and safe. We also enjoyed the lemons off the tree that we could use. We had fresh lemonade!! We would definitely stay here again!

Great space & location

We really enjoyed having this space as our refuge & landing pad during our daughter’s graduation from Berkeley. Our host, Rob, was so on top of everything & made sure we knew he was there if needed. The condo itself was clean, dialed in with all the amenities, adorable backyard area & the beds/linens were very comfortable & high quality. We really appreciated all the little touches & attention to detail. They were dog friendly to boot! If you’re in need of a stay in the Berkeley/Emeryville/Oakland area, I highly recommend!

Wonderful Condo

First off, the neighborhood is lovely and in my opinion, nothing to worry about. Second, what a wonderful space to stay with everything you need. The instructions for check in/out were perfect. As well as the folder with everything detailed out from where to find the trash bags to how to use the milk frother. There were two things, an fyi of sorts. One, pay attention to how you use the heat, it sort of had a mind of its own. But i very well could have just not understood the directions. Two, the tv only has a few streaming apps that you need your own login for. I was able to mirror from my laptop to the tv, so we were able to watch any app i had. We couldn't miss couchella! Ha! Parking is plenty. Plenty of shops, food etc within walking distance. And central to everything if you're driving. Lastly, our host was very responsive, friendly and was right there for any questions or concerns. We had none. Thank you!

Tranquil stay

We had a wonderful stay. The backyard looked like it had been recently upgraded - and was beautiful and a very relaxing place to hang out. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. Very nice art and decorations. Would love to stay again!

Not the space we expected

Delayed response for check in; had to contact VRBO chat to obtain code. Furnance malfunction was dealt with in 24 hours; one bathroom shower inoperative for last 3 days of stay. It was a holiday, and while I understand some delay, felt we did our best to acknowledge host limitations. Now that we are gone, no response to inquiry (including listing says sleeps 6, but were charged for anything over 4 people; needs to be more clear upon booking!)

Lovely place, great communication

I stayed with family for three nights. We were very happy with how well-equipped the kitchen was and how comfortable the bed linens were. It was during a huge wind and rain storm, so we didn't get to spend much time outside, though the backyard was private (shared with upstairs but enclosed) and quiet. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient. Nearby areas can be rougher, but this street seemed very peaceful. We had an issue with a shower and the host took care of it right away.

Listing wasn’t like pictures

The property is in okay neighborhood but was a dirty part of town. The outside was not kept up very well it didn’t have table and chairs and the couch was dirty and stained. Very unkempt back yard. T.V was apps like Hulu and as a group we have none so not much to watch but news. Robert was easy to work with just wished the reviews and property were like the pictures.

Son's Wedding

Robert's condo was perfect for our son's wedding in Oakland. Three generations of family stayed here and we could walk to the wedding party venue. The place is funky and comfortable and the beer and bottle of wine were lovely welcoming touches. Thank you making our stay so effortless.

Beautiful house

We stayed here for five nights with my doggy. We were all very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. We had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Nice area to walk your dog. I loved staying here.

The inside of the house was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. I was a bit disappointed by the how the front and backyards were neglected. There were some dead plants and tall weeds.

The place was comfy and well decorated inside. It was well laid out for relaxing and sleeping. The backyard was great to relax and talk while enjoying the butterflies, moths, and birds who were also enjoying the backyard. Amazing place!

Clean and safe!

Clean and safe! Those are always my top priorities and this place delivered on both. My family needed a convenient place to stay to deal with a last minute family emergency and the last thing I needed was added stress. Robert’s place was no stress at all! We were very grateful for the clean place, yard for my pup and soft, comfy beds. Would definitely book again if I’m in the area.
