It was our first time at Waters Edge. What a beautiful property! We loved having the beach within walking distance of our room. We ate lunch and breakfast at the hotel. Both were delicious. I am looking forward to our next little get away.

Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by repeated negative interactions with a front desk staff member, Leanne Susie Moy. On four separate occasions, including in front of other guests and staff, her tone and demeanor were unwelcoming and disrespectful. At one point she even came out and loudly stated her full first name and last name when I asked if she was the same person on check in . Then she slammed paperwork on the front desk . This behavior turned what was meant to be a special mother–daughter getaway into a disappointing experience. Because of this, we will not be returning to the property. I wanted to share this feedback so it can be addressed for the sake of future guests.

Looking for a relaxing summer get away and this didn't disappoint. Beautiful property on the water. Beach was clean and chairs and umbrellas provided. Staff was super professional and accommodating. Outside bar and restaurants, no need to leave the property. Surrounding area was quiet and close drive to the town of Essex.
