The room was a motel not a hotel which was presented and advertised. I was kind of caught off guard approaching the neighborhood as I watched it declined the closer I got. The fridge in my room did not work. The coffee machine in my room did not work. They provided two bottles of water that is it no refills. This “hotel” offered no housekeeping, or someone to bring new towels etc upon going to the front desk to ask why housekeeping didn’t come to bring any towels I was informed that you have to put a request 24 hours ahead of time for your room to be cleaned and then you’re also charge for that. I have never heard of that and I have stayed at nice hotels in my lifetime. This motel wouldn’t even be worth a cleaning fee so I was absolutely appalled with that. Then we wanted to extend our checkout time which we were told would be $60. Front decks charged us $100 could not inform us why we were charged $100 and just told us we had to wait for the money to go back to the cardwhich by the way still has not happened.. Also, I was followed around by the maintenance man from the moment I checked into the hotel, he kept asking if I’m smoking as if I am a child. I ended up having to report him to the manager, which I will say they handled well as he was overstepping his job description for one and harassing guest. Very nice pool tho ! my son enjoyed that part. must say it was beautiful. The water is heated. Other than the pool, I would not recommend

The rooms were old, i had a handicap and it really wasn't. There were mo luggage carts. The phones didn't work, one of the tables wabbled from loose nails holding table together. The property staff was friendly but seems like they are under staffed. Will never stay here again, horrible resort!!!

Staff was kind but the process was very slow. There was only two agents on staff at a pretty busy time. We waited in a very long line both times we had to speak with the front desk. Second time there were 6 families in line and only one person was on staff. The room was very outdated and did not look like the photos online. It served its purpose which was a roof over our head for one night in Orlando but the room left a lot to be desired. We stayed in the tower. The premises were not kept up. Trash was running over, elevator was dirty and it reminded me of an outdated dorm room for upperclassmen with the tiled walls and outdated courtyard. Inside the room there were outdated fixtures, rust everywhere that I could see and water spots in the ceiling. I don’t know if the beds were comfortable or if I was just extremely tired but I did get a decent nights rest. I could hear kids running above me so the walls were fairly thin. The heat worked well. Orlando had a freeze warning last night so that’s great because the covers on the bed did not include any sort of additional layer aside from two sheets that sandwiched this other thin sheet. Not sure if that’s custom for Florida because of its warm climate but you all should consider something thicker in the winter months. Sleeping without any sort of comforter is strange. Definitely gave more of a motel feel versus hotel. If that is what you are into this is the place for you!

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at this Wyndham was very disappointing. The wait time to check in was extremely long, and when I finally received my key, it was for the wrong room. On top of that, I was told a temporary hold of $70.25 would be placed and that $50 would be released, but instead I was charged the full room amount again—even though I had already paid through Expedia. This caused unnecessary stress and confusion. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations.

When I checked in the lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all, she did not explain anything about the hotel. When I asked about breakfast, I received a one word answer. I placed the white towel down on the bathroom floor and left. When I returned there was brown stuff on the towel (I took pictures). Then While in the room I went to turn on the heat because the room was extremely cold and there was a freeze watch in effect for the area. We noticed the room was blowing cold air. After a few minutes I put the Heat all the way up to 90 degrees (pic taken) but cold air was still blowing. I called the front desk to explain so they sent maintenance and he came after 45mins. He checked the unit and said they would need to replace it but because it was late we had to wait until about 10am in the morning. So he went and got us 2 extra blankets. The blankets did not work. My husband and I tried to cuddle together to stay warm. We were very uncomfortable, cold and couldn’t really sleep. We decided to just get up clean the room that I worked hard to decorate for my husband’s birthday and check out a whole day and a half early because it was 8am and when we checked out. Also the sitting table was wobbly. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel and my husbands birthday was ruined. Very disappointed!
