Heating is available for $35 per day (plus tax) with a 3-day minimum and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Please note the attached spa is not a hot tub—it does not have jets, and it heats to the same temperature as the pool, not exceeding 90°F. The heating system uses heat exchange, which does not operate in temperatures below 50°F. No refunds will be provided if the pool does not reach the desired temperature in cold weather.

Nice and spacious

Overall our stay was good. The house was nice and spacious for my family. We lived the resort. Housekeepers look like they rushed to clean the home. Need to be deep cleaned. Also the home lacked extras like other homes we've rented. Had a problem with loud neighbors on our last night and it took several calls to reach someone regarding the issue. Also all of the tv's in the home had been disconnected from the cable and was hard to get reconnected

Family Vacation

I'm going to rate the check-in process as an okay. Although it was extremely easy. We thought both names were on the reservation and the gate did not have my information. I was able to get daily passes. So no biggie.. If you are going during a holiday confirm that your name is on file to get your pass for your entire trip. One night the line was so long that the police showed up and started turning people away. We did not utilize all of their amenities but my family, of nine, was happy with the community pool, food and drinks. The beds were super comfortable and the water pressure in the bathrooms were AMAZING. I noticed a few MINOR imperfections with the home but it did not take away from our overall experience. Most importantly the home was clean,beautiful and spacious. We will rent this property again in the future. My only frustration was dinner. Most places had a hour wait time or longer. Some places wouldn't take reservations. Some places told us they couldn't accommodate a table of 8 w/ a highchair so our family was broken into two. We will not go back to longhorn steakhouse or Bob Marley.

When we arrived at our villa getting a guest added to the account was the first nightmare. Good luck trying to get in touch with anyone that manages the property. Little did we know our troubles were only beginning. The property may have been nice at one time but it is so poorly maintained. A lot of things are broken and there are disgusting marks all over the walls from children climbing. The gate surrounding the pool did not latch properly and was a huge concern for us as we were traveling with a baby. We expressed these concerns and no one addressed them. The kitchen table still had food from the previous residents all over. They were mouse droppings in some of the furniture. I have photos to prove this. Again we attempted to reach out to the person that manages the property and had a little luck getting in touch with someone. Two days into our stay we were told that the maintenance manager would be contacting us. They never did. We called again and requested that someone come clean the property. Again we were told that someone will contact us. Again no one called. We have stayed in this community before and it has been a good experience, however we will never stay there again based on the state of the property and the absolutely atrocious lack of communication with the property manager.

When I booked this place, I knew I was getting a place that matched the pictures. To be completely honest, the house and neighborhood was nice, but the pictures of the inside of the house had us hoodwinked. The pictures on the site made the rooms look bigger than they were, especially with the pool. The angles of each picture of the rooms made it like these rooms were a nice size. In addition, the cable and wifi was out for two days so I had to reach out to the owner, which was a project and a half. I couldn't even reach the property office. They have office hours but don't answer the phone. The only way I was able to reach the owner of the house was by email and they would get back to me hours later. I couldn't believe I had to be the one to be responsible for the cable tech to get to the house. I must have called the cable company four times and four hours later, the tech arrived. The owner never even followed up to see how everything went. Also, we have a baby and asked for them to provide a crib and we were given a pack n play. We couldn't even switch out or get a refund. The communication was completely poor from the owner's end. The clubhouse was the best thing there. One more thing...the game room was trash. The pictures showed it had a basketball net with the basketball...there wasn't a basketball. The pool sticks and chipped cues, and the paddles that went to the ping pong table were worn down. The owner definitely dropped the ball on this one. The cable/wifi issue, the terrible picture taking that made the rooms and pool look bigger, the way to contact which was just email and never responded immediately. This is their job and they did a poor job. I only give it a C because of the themed rooms and the kids having a great time in the pool.

For The Most Part

The stay was great. There was plenty of room for everyone. The basketball shoot game is not in the game room anymore, but the rest was great. A few issues with guests getting in the community. The house was beautiful, though.

Great property

We always stay in championsgate as we love the security and amenities that the neighborhood and these homes offer. This home was perfect for our Disney getaway..the only thing I would suggest would be to add more pots and pans as well as more bowls. Lastly there was a large crack across the back eye of the stove but there is a replacement stove sitting in the kids play area that I believe they haven’t gotten around to installing just yet. Other than that everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!

Great home for large families! And kids!

We had the absolute best time staying here! The home was large and lived big- which was so nice because we never once felt crowded! The pool was clean and nice! Felt great in July! Check in and check out were super easy. The internet is not great in this house- I had quite a bit of work to do and that was a little annoying. The kitchen was very clean and there were plenty of pots and pans to cook. Do bring kitchen towels (as another review suggested). The game room doesn’t have the basketball shot anymore which my kids were bummed about! The neighborhood is very loud! It didn’t bother us at all! Because we were on vacation and letting the kids stay up late! We really had the best time! The clubhouse pool is really nice!!! We had kids ages 1.5yrs-10yrs and they all had a blast there!

I stay at Champions Gate just about every year. This is the first time I was disappointed with my stay. The house was very large and really a nice house but the the furniture was worn. The pictures on the internet were taken when the house was new and it looked much more appealing. The carpet was worn and the throw rugs were dated. We rented a 6 bedroom house and could only use 5 bedrooms because the mattress in one of the bedrooms was so terribly stained that we did not feel comfortable sleeping on it. The house could be a nice house but it needs some tender loving care. Everytime before we stayed in Champions Gate the houses were immaculate. This house was up for sale so maybe that had something to do with. Hopefully whoever purchases this property will bring it up to par. I won't stay there again.

Extended Family Vacation

The home was beautiful and spacious- we had lots of room to spread out with two young families and their grandparents. The kids loved the pool which we paid to have heated - it was nice and warm! We enjoyed use of the Oasis Club on several occasions however the lazy river and splash pad water was very cold - so the younger ones didn’t enjoy it as much as they might have if the water those pools had been heated. The older kids loved the lazy river and the slide and didn’t seem to mind the cool water temperature! The home says it will sleep 14, however the kitchen wasn’t outfitted for cooking for that many people. (tiny frying pans, one small cookie sheet etc. ). The kitchen didn’t have dishes suitable for children. Those things aside we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Champions Gate.

The most comfortable landing spot after a day at the parks

We came to Florida for the parks, but our kids asked several times if we could "go home and swim." This house had the perfect pool - so warm during the chilly days in March. And compared to the first few days of our vacation (which we spent in a hotel room), we were actually able to stretch out and relax here. This house was a vacation game-changer. We thought we would use the main club house restaurant and pool more. All of that is very lovely. But the house, itself, had everything we could possibly need. It was beautifully decorated and clean. I felt safe being in the gated community. We appreciated being so close to the parks too. And the price was on point. We would absolutely stay there again.
