Motel 6 in disguise

The property is located in a great area for the parks. The hotel well first off let’s say the staff are amazing and friendly. Second the hotel has something going on there was big fans in the lobby for the entire 5 days we were there I’m assuming from a flood. Third the elevators there are two only one worked the entire time. Day 3 neither one worked lights kept going out that morning. Lastly the beds were horrible I had to take ibuprofen daily for a stiff body. This wonderful hotel was was honestly a run down motel 6.

Air con in the lobby was broken so they had portable AC’s running. I’m sure this is temporary. Room was clean and comfortable. Television remotes were terrible as you had to use all your might to press the buttons to get them to work and the WiFi was non existent. Stayed here for a work trip and it was fine. None of the above would stop me from staying there again. Staff were kind and welcoming.

Let me start with the positive: staff was nice and accommodating. Now for the rest: this hotel is poorly built with zero soundproofing. If you're as unlucky as I was to stay underneath people holding what I can only assume were relay races each evening, you will hear every step. There's a big gap between the door and the frame, so every hallway noise—and the elevator if you're nearby—comes through loud and clear. Plus, the TV freezes, the shower squeals and has very weak water pressure, and there’s currently no AC in the hallways, elevators, or gym.
