** The resort HOA does not permit reservations longer than 30 days.
** Pool and SPA Heat Fee $45 per day after tax, must remain on for the entire duration of the stay, if requested. Please request pool heat at least 5 days before your arrival.
** For safety reasons, we don't keep a BBQ Grill onsite. However, if requested, we can send information to you about renting one. It would be thoroughly cleaned and delivered with full propane. Other rental equipment is also available upon request.
** Towels provided are for bathroom use only. Please bring your own towels for pool, beach, waterpark, or other outdoor activities.
** Trash Bags, Toilet Paper, and Paper Towels: Starter quantities are provided for these amenities, but they may not last the entire duration of your stay.
The vacation home is self-catering, please get additional supplies on your own, as we do not provide more than the initial amount.
Additionally, there are convenience stores near to the resort for any last-minute items and treats.

Summit week

The things that would have made it a 5 of 5, would be to have cleaning products available, especially more than one dish washer tablet, toilet tissue, and more trash bags. We were traveling from out of state and did not travel with cleaning products. It made it hard to clean up.

The mattresses killed it for us.

Everything was great except for the mattresses. All of the king size mattresses need to be replaced, especially the one in the Star Wars themed room. That mattress was so broken down along the sides that we struggled to stay in it. I did contact the host, they were attentive in responding but didn’t do anything about the problem other than have a maintenance check it out, conveniently right after we left the property for the day. Maintenance said the beds were fine. They absolutely were not fine. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay and the house suited our needs.

Beautiful property, but

The house was great. More room than we could ask for and a lot of amenities. I only had three issues. The mattresses and pillows are worn out and need to be changed. The carpet is pretty old and stained. And there was several things floating in the pool that shouldn’t have been there. Besides those the place was clean and very comfortable.

Resort security is horrible

The house is very spacious and comfortable. The resort pool was great and about a 20 min walk from the house. I would have the carpets professionally cleaned. The only reason I would not stay again at Windsor Island Resort is the security. The security was horrible all week. We walked in with our luggage after waiting in an uber for an hour to check in. Everytime we tried to get through the gate they wanted something different. They are very rude and on a power trip.

Summer vacation

The house was amazing. We travelled here with another family and there was so much room for the kids to hang out upstairs in the themed living room. The bedrooms were well appointed and had great theming as well. Our 5 year old loved the Minion room and the bunk bed for him to climb in to bed each night. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool area to just relax and get some sunshine. The resort area was a big hit

Cleaning

The house was just as pictured, but unfortunately, the cleaning was not. The over all look was good. The kids double bunk bed room was the reason for renting and unfortunately they did not sleep in the rooms. Pull back the sheets and pee stains all over the top bunk. Email Emily and the cleaning service drop off sheets. Unfortunately the kids no longer wanted to sleep in the room, Cleaning service need to do a better job and check all bedrooms even ask the renter to pull the sheets off the bed to assist the cleaning crew. Is unfortunate you paid for cleaning and they are not giving the renter a clean house.

Just as Pictured

Pros: The house is just as pictured. I was very pleasantly surprised. The house was immaculately clean. It is very large and has tons of room. We did not cook but it appeared to have plenty of pots and pans. The couches on both floors are very large and comfortable. The children loved the themed rooms. The pool is nice and has all of the child safety features. The garage was a nice addition to have the additional parking. The washer and dryer are in great shape and very clean. The baby bed and high chair are a great addition and prevented us from having to pack those items. The tvs are nice and there is one in every room. All of the bedding is of a nice quality and very soft. Cons: A few more towels were needed and we had to wash them daily. Also, there were no wash cloths and we had to go out and buy some. Not a huge deal. The biggest con was the mattresses. They were very poor quality. Even the children complained. A foam topper would probably fix the problem of the extreme firmness. Even with the cons this house is gorgeous and very well cared for. It is able to accommodate a huge family. We travel alot and this is the most squeaky clean home we have ever stayed in.
