Terrible!
I had high hopes for this home as we’ve stayed at Windsor Palms numerous times. This was the first time using this property and it will be our last with any properties owned by Global Resorts. We walk into a FREEZING home the first night. The heater was broken. On top of that, there was a terribly loud motor sound coming outside of the master bedroom. We called to report both the following morning and were told we would be contacted when the repair was complete. No one contacted us but we did see the heater was repaired but the loud noise wasn’t gone. It was so loud you could hear it throughout the entire house. We went to use the pool but there was a film and scum on the pool and the hot tub. I called to report that and to see if anything was mentioned about the noise coming from outside the master. They told me the pool pump was the issue but they also failed to turn it off even after they found that to be the issue the first time I called to report the heater was broken. I called back to see if the pool had been repaired before we headed back for the day and they told me the pool wouldn’t be serviced until the following day- the day we were leaving. I left a manager an email and didn’t hear back from them for over 10 DAYS!!!
Let’s talk cleanliness! The shower head in the master bathroom shower had pink mildew… this means there’s a water bacteria. This also means, the shower heads haven’t been properly cleaned. The shower heads in the other bathrooms also had water calcification. Again, lack of proper cleaning!
Then I finally hear back from the GM who gave me some song and dance saying the best they could do is only refund my pool heating fee and cleaning fee. He also tried to tell me that the shower heads were due to the minerals in the water in Florida. As a frequent traveler to the fine state of Florida, this was the first time we had encountered such poor conditions in a rental home.
I would never recommend this house nor this company to anyone! POOR customer service and FILTHY conditions!
