The breakfasts were very good. However, our room was in the annex, and it felt like a renovated dungeon. It was very small, and some of the walls were painted rock foundation. The entrance was off of the back driveway, right up the block from a methadone clinic and “safe space”. Not so much.

The property, rooms, staff, and breakfast are all excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Victorian decor. All-in-all, a great stay. Rideau St, two blocks down, is a bit on the grimy side though. That said, would 100% book again.

Had a really great sleep - super comfortable bed and quiet with the window closed and black-out blinds. Breakfasts were great - bring you own container if you need to take it to go as that was not available. The only thing is the dodgey area it is in - well-located, but super sad with the drug and homeless problem everywhere. But that is just generally life in cities now I guess.

I noted a person doing Drugs right outside my room window and then went for a walk and there what was a den of drug addicts on the side street. Note I was nervous for my safety as I had to walk to the middle of the street to avoid these drug addicts....
