Balcony was neat and tidy, were able to see dining and shopping experiences below. Neighbourhood was safe to walk through. Could walk to Parliament, Byward Market, Rideau Centre with ease. And any other downtown store just fine. Wine stores, Farm Boy, Coffee Cafe 's were closeby. Continental breakfast had a wide variety of foods. A great experience. Wish there were more apartment hotels.

I booked this hotel with some misgivings based on the star rating and photos but because 4 star hotel rates were very high and availability low on my travel day, I didn’t have much choice. Long story short — this is my new go to hotel in Ottawa. Ridiculously friendly and accommodating staff; comfortable, clean and roomy -though dated - accommodation; close to metro. I mean, there was a printer in my room!! Great deal.

This property is so satisfying. Everything is plentiful and all the services are perfect. The room is spacious and convenient. Everything you need is provided. It was the most satisfying place to travel to Canada for a week. If you are going to stay in Ottawa, I highly recommend this place.

The Business Inn was in a great location and the suite we were assigned was spacious with a balcony overlooking Minto Park. Noise at night from the busy street below was easily blocked by the double balcony doors. Breakfast options were varied enough we could all find something with gluten free items listed clearly. Great access to Centretown and all the different restaurants and shops. The cons- water pressure was terrible in the shower offering a trickle rather full shower, and temp controls not working well - either cold or scalding. Breakfast room was small and crowded but staff were very helpful. We took our food to our room which worked well. Windows on balcony and in bedroom could be cleaner. Despite these minor hiccups it was a great place to stay and we will definitely be back. Easy walking along the Rideau canal made it possible to walk downtown or to Carleton University.
