Our stay on New Year’s Eve 2025 at the beautiful Chateau Laurier was fabulous! The room was spotless and so gorgeous. We highly recommend getting a room with a view of the Parliament Buildings. All of the staff were so welcoming and attentive! We had a drink at the 1912 Bar and dinner at Zoe’s. Both were wonderful. We highly recommend a stay at the Chateau Laurier.

Considering what a stay costs at the Chateau Laurier, it’s nothing special. Valet parking is all that is offered and it took 45 minutes to have the car brought up when we checked out, resulting in cancellation of breakfast reservations. Somewhat disappointing. I will say the location is great and the view of Parliament almost made up for the other deficiencies.

We had a great stay at Fairmont Château Laurier. The location is excellent and makes it easy to get around the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious with a super comfortable bed, and the amenities were great. Overall a really enjoyable stay and we’d happily return.

Was offered an upgrade to a suite, but there weren't blackout blinds in the room, which is unusual for a hotel. The staff were very accommodating, but unfortunately, there was no parking at the hotel itself, and we had to park three blocks away (and had to pay for!), which, in December, was quite annoying.

Lovely location. Beautiful decor. Access to front door and valet service at check in is a problem especially when busy. Cars backed up on Rideau. Bar service at Zoe’s was not good. Waited 10mins before relocating to a booth for table service which was much better. 1912 Bar is less high end speakeasy than advertised. Did not stay.
