Nice hotel! Our room/suite had plenty of room and all the amenities you could want. A little worn but clean and that's the important thing. Location was good. Right behind city hall so just a short walk to everything downtown. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a very comfortable stay. Having a dining room on site was very convenient. We didn’t like that the gym was isolated in the basement, closeted away. We would stay at the Embassy Suites again.

We had to change room at the arrival as the first one smelled either like cigarette or mold. Second one was better but there still was a weird odour. The bed was clean and comfy but the carpet needed to be vacuumed. The coffee machine needed to be cleaned, as well as the toilet and the bathroom fan. The staff at the front desk was amazing and the hotel is very well situated. Over all not so bad but we will try a different hotel next Time.

My family loved the staff, especially Yusuf Osmin and Lea Quiroz at the front desk. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. If I may say one thing, one of rooms has no full sized mirror and no bathroom door lock. Restaurants are within walking distance. And I love that we have options on where to park at reasonable price.

The staff was very helpful, diligent, and polite. I like that we were able to check in upon arrival which was earlier than expected. It was also helpful to be able to leave the car for a couple hours after checkout. I was not very happy with the driving around one way streets to get to hotel. That was not too convenient.

The location was very convenient to getting to major downtown attractions within a short walk just that if you don’t walk through Rideau centre, it’s a bit more sketchy after dark along the water. I had booked a room for 3 guests but there were only 2 coffee cups and would have been good to have a water/ice machine on floors other than the ground level. Not sure if the bathroom fan worked but we couldn’t figure it out and when I wanted to use the blow drier, it had been knotted so tightly in its cloth bag that I really had to struggle to open it. Our room had an adjoining door and we were awakened before 6am by a child crying and being scolded so would have appreciated not being placed so close to a young family when we were 3 adults- maybe something they could ask at time of reservation to know.

Great location and amenities were great. Did not enjoy the occasional smell of cigarette smoke coming into the bedroom or how noisy the air conditioner was in the bedroom. It made sleeping difficult.
