Staff were friendly, location is great for walking ..no onsite parking, valet only parking at almost 40$/night plus tip if you wanted your car.seems that booking on this site gives you a less than expected room for the money.wall paper pealing off in the bathroom to missing items after housekeeping attended our room..long black hairs( not ours) on the ceiling of the shower.. three night stay and was still there on check out.. over flow drain on bathroom sink looked like it was never rinsed or cleaned since it was installed..

Absolutely wonderful hotel with a top notch staff. Every single staff member was attentive, caring, and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean, really couldn’t ask for anything more. Great location with convenient access to everything! Short walk to parliament and by ward market, right across from confederation park and east access to the bike/multi use path. Taxi, bus and electric scooters right outside the door, short walk to train stations.

Staff was great! Super helpful, got us another room halfway through for more space. Awesome location, front-row for changing of the guard parade, just a few blocks from Parliament, the canal, and Byward Market. Property is starting to show signs of age (bathroom pocket door loud and difficult to open, stains in bathtub) but overall great stay!

Location is excellent for sight seeing, only complaint is that there was a musty smell throughout the premises Keep in mind hotel is dated which adds to the nostalgia but it really does need the carpets replaced especially in the corridors But a very nice stay in general and we would stay here again for the location alone
