This was my first time staying at the Lord Elgin. It was clean, quiet, room was lovely and walkable to the attractions downtown. Used the valet service for the car which was easy and reasonable (though note: you can park for free and overnight on the weekends in Ottawa). Would definitely stay there again.

Clean rooms & comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and fast to respond to any requests. Hot tub was down for maintenance when I stayed but it was overall a great stay.

Overall it was a good stay. 2 down points • no fan in bathroom (creates a very hot and foggy environment) • very cheap paper thin toilet paper
