Food was good would have been nice to have the deposit notice made aware to us beforehand however and the opportunity to include breakfast for the duration of my stay but facilities were great and easy to use and a great stay in Ottawa would stay again!

Hotel was very nice and in the convenient location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing I would like to mention is inconvenience of not having an accessible room with two queen beds only with one king bed. This is very specific situation and doesn't take away all the positive feedback about the hotel. The restaurant onsite was really good with breakfast menu. We didn't try the dinner but the menu looked very good

Staffs are super friendly yet very professional.We have tried on premise restaurant and food is so so. However, very nice and attentive waitress. We couldn't use the valet parking at the hotel due to size of my SUV. As it turned, city parking only cost me $4 for the whole weekend. (Valet parking is 39.99 + tax per night) Overall, it was a good pleasant stay for my family.

this hotel is fine, but i was hoping for something more than fine. elgin street is a prime location and is busy and noisy with pedestrians and traffic until very late at night. the room was comfortable, but unremarkable. the air conditioning wasn’t very strong, which made a hot weekend less pleasant. the bar was friendly, but the drinks were likewise unremarkable. valet service was prompt, but a little bit brusque. overall, i found the lord elgin to be a average hotel with pretensions of being a great hotel.

Lord Elgin hotel rocks!

The hotel's location is great. Everything is within the walking distance i.e. Parliament Hill, Rideau canal, etc. The staff was very polite, helpful. The rooms were comfy and clean. Valet parking is avaiable. On our next visit we will consider to stay at Lord Elgin.. 😀
