Nice Family Trip

The hotel itself is Centrally located, perfect for a long dtay. Everything was in walking distance, didnt have to take the car at all. Only drawbacks: 1) TV reception was not good, really only received in about 8 channels, mostly news. Not great for small kids who needed something for downtime. 2) Not the hotel at all, but lots of homeless people around the hotel. While we were there, 3 different ambulanes taking people away. Security was walking around doing their best but didnt make a huge difference.

Great location and friendly service. Rooms and property were clean and well maintained. Elevator was out of service and management had a repairman come in to fix it right away, despite it being late at night, which was great. I would’ve given it an excellent rating if the beds were less soft - felt like we all sunk in just sitting on them.

Property was good, but the area being 10 min walk from the parliament was horrible. Homeless people figthing, some people injecting themselves at nearby store... it was quite an unwelcomed experience.

Great location, very walkable! Very nice hotel and amenities. A few noticable areas in our room were not cleaned but otherwise great. Liked that you need your key card to enter the hotel during the later hours of the day. Just an extra added level of security.

We came for a little 3 nights vacation with our 7 yo son and had a really good time in Ottawa. The hotel is perfectly located, the neighbourhood is really fun to walk around. Lots of things to see and do in a walking distance. Staff were really friendly! We felt welcomed. We didn’t have any problems with the parking on site, although there is a limited amount of spaces. There was a bit of noise coming from the street at night, but the hotel being in a lively area, this was expected. It wasn’t so bad as to disturb anyone in our family’s sleep. Overall, a wonderful stay and I look forward to coming back again in the future.

Hotel was good , clean and conveniently located right in Byward market. Service was quick and friendly. Weird that lobby and dining area have no AC, was uncomfortable to stay in those areas. Byward Area in general though has a major uptick in unhoused people, specifically strung out. Did not feel safe walking around, especially at night or early morning. Not great for the kids to continually see.
