Oxnard was great, and we were close to the harbor, restaurants and everything we wanted. We took fun day trips to Ojai, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Ventura...It was a great time for family!

Wish we could stay forever

What an amazing place to stay with my family. Beach access and views from the windows was wonderful! I saw some complaints about distance to water but it wasn’t as bad as they made it seem. Plenty of space for 3 couples and a couple young adults. Everything is well marked and plenty of towels (including beach towels) are available. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location

The house is located in an amazing area, right on the sand with the water about 25 miles out. There was a volleyball net nearby which was tons of fun! The furniture in the house was a bit worn out but I guess the price adjusts for thay.

Great for families!

We loved the location!! We wanted the beach as our backyard & we got it! Close to parks, lots of walking opportunities, grocers, yet quiet location. Took advantage of Oxnard beach park, harbor park for the free concert which was super fun! Roomy house, well equipped. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs, etc - liked the extra pillows but couldn’t find pillow cases - only two dish towels which made it hard to do dishes with 10 people. - bikes that were provided had flat tires so couldn’t use - property picture showed gas grill on deck, but only grill we saw was charcoal and under stairs. Didn’t see other grill till we checked out this morning. - furniture felt very used. Understand it’s a beach house but even the fabric on the couches felt gritty from sand, etc. - swept with broom daily but couldn’t find operational mop Peeling paint outside. Property could use an update

Had a great time!

This property was wonderful. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Being steps away from the beach with a three year old made it easy to enjoy the beach and the house each day. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Hollywood beach,oxnard,CA (7 adults, 2 teens,1 youth & 1 infant)

The property was beautiful and very roomy, it accommodated us all, with plenty of personal space. We loved the layout, but if you are not fond of stairs, then this is not your place ...there is 3 levels. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is huge. It is an older beach house but has plenty of charm. We will definitely come back.

Proposal day!

We rented this house and drove from Phoenix because my son picked this place to propose to his girlfriend. What a great idea. The place was perfect and you would think it was a private beach. Pictures don’t do justice for this place. Everything was simple and best of all, she said yes!

The location is incredible - right on the beach! The views from inside are wonderful as well. The property decor and furnishings are dated. Some of the drinking glasses were dirty with lipstick from previous guests. We just washed ahead what we were going to use. Checkin process/instructions were very clear and we had no trouble.

Great place to stay!

The house was clean and well furnished, with plenty of space for our family! We appreciate the beach towels, beach toys, and beach chairs provided by the owner. Courtney at the property management office was extremely helpful and responsive when we identified an issue. And we appreciate that the owner was willing to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. We can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our time at the beach house.

Wonderful Stay!

We had an excellent time with family these last few days! The views out the front windows were spectacular of the big private beach and sparkling ocean. This is an older house that needs some TLC, like the slider door to the beach, missing racks in the oven, no ice maker and other odds and ends, but the beauty of a big table for family dinners together and playing games together topped these minor problems. We loved all being together and will return back to this home!!!

Farewell weekend for family moving out of state

Easy breezy access (although I did wipe down front door) wonderful location. Neighbors friendly. Because we did rent in March, we were disappointed w fireplace not working. Did see it mentioned in an earlier review so was hoping it was addressed. It was not. But when your w family, how can your weekend not end up fantastic ❀

Spectacular views and literally on the sand!

This house was perfect for our family of 9. We had 5 adults twin 16 year olds and twin 13 year olds. Very spacious with plenty of dining room seating and relaxing seating. The views are amazing and the location is great. Walking distance to great restaurants, mini markets and some shopping. Parking inside the garage for 2 regular size cars and 3 cars can easily fit in the driveway. Very quiet neighborhood with good neighbors. Loved this house

Loved Hollywood Beach

Great location, large home with lots of space, however living area wasn’t very clean. Couldn’t get fireplace or bedroom TV’s to work. Beach was clean and not crowded. Overall good times had by all.

Lovely beach house

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful house over Christmas. It is so nice to walk out the back door and be right on the beach.
