Have no alarm clock, no microwave, flat shower valve, it's hard to pull with finger nail. My wife could not pull out at all. After 2 nights, we stepped by asking the office lady, Ana about clock, microwave...She was so rude, yelled at me, talked so fast like attacking. All I said to her to keep quite, no need to yell at traveler. Stay away for kind attitude!

We booked a room for March 13 to 16th as we have done every time we'd visit Palm Springs. We always enjoyed our stays here in the past but this time was a completely different experience. It first started with check in which took about 20 min because there was only one person checking in a huge line. No biggie, but wouldve been helpful for the poor woman working solo. I requested a room on the second floor but it was pretty packed so we were assigned a room on the first floor that was unfortunately right next to a room that was being renovated. So no chance to relax after check in with construction noise happening all afternoon. Cable wasnt working so we couldnt turn the volume up to help drown out that noise. The room was very worn down, dirty, holes in the walls and missing or broken outlet plates. Grout missing in the tile bath floor, broken/chipped laminate flooring that they tried to fix with glue. The worse part was the bed which bowed and sank toward the middle. I threw out my back after 1 night of sleep here that we decided to just leave. The manager Jose called me the next morning to ask where we had gone, i explained everything and how unhappy we were. He was apologetic and offered a refund for the two nights we werent staying. I told him i really appreciated that offer. He said we'd get a refund within 3 to 5 business days. Well its been over 6 weeks now and still no refund. I think thats pretty messed up to offer that and then rescind it. We will not be returning.

There was a gap in the hotel door, where light and other things could come thru. My room was not as pictured from when I booked the reservation. The toilet just kept running when I would flush it. there was a big purple stain on the table. I felt very unsafe staying there as a solo travel. Mostly because of the door situation. The staff was friendly though and accommodated my early checkin.

This is an 70's vibes hotel. If you are looking for room service and the Marriott, go there. This is a family type hotel that had everything I needed for two days. There is a restaurant across from the main lobby and shopping of every kind just a few minutes down the street. The music from the pool stopped promptly at 10PM and it was quiet and relaxing. Bed was very comfy and room was clean.

We had a great time at the Caliente! Super convenient. It has restaurants in the hotel and a ton more that are walking distance. The pool are is cute with a pretty view.

Property was very dated, the room felt dirty and many of the lights and electrical plugs did not work. Worst off, the wait staff at the on site restaurant was inattentive and the bartender was super rude and would not serve us unless we worked with our waitress (who rarely showed up at our table). I ended up NOT ordering any food and didn’t order any drinks. Would never come back.

This was our second time staying here. It was pretty good. Check in is easy, they let us check in an hour early. We mostly hung out by the pool, its convenient that the bar is so close. The room was ok, it was a double queen suite, not too small. The shower was a little sub par. Water pooled a little by your toes, but it wasnt a deal breaker. I do appreciate that the front desk had toothpaste for us since I forgot to pack some. Overall, pleased with this place. Staff is nice and helpful.
