Great location, very clean and nice accommodations. Within walking and biking distance to everything we wanted to do. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, with a bike rental place and a parking deck within a few blocks. Highly recommend!
great location very cute well maintained place with character. if you canât climb stairs donât go there. four flights of stairs one room per floor. but its very comfortable and fun if you can climb. loved it. parking on street. if your car is taller than 6â6â like ours we had to drive out of town to find overnight parking that wasnât on the street.
I stayed at this townhome for 5 nights in June, 2025. The place is 100 years old at least but the interior has been remodeled and is modern in all areas with central heat, AC, a very modern kitchen, combo washer/dryer and all sorts of amenities. I rarely used the kitchen but it has just about everything you could want. There are four levels which means there are a lot of stairs. The stairs are safe but you need to use caution when going up or down as headroom within the stair well can be a little tight for tall people. The bedroom is on the top floor and the kitchen is in the basement level. In between is the entry area and the TV room and bathroom is upstairs from that. Each individual floor is quite small. In this way it is very typical of a lot of older Philadelphia row houses. The courtyard setting is simply wonderful. In terms of location, I specifically picked this apartment because of the proximity to the Indego bike station which is less than a block away in Kahn Park. I never drove or took the subway. If you want to use a bicycle this is a great location as there were always bikes to use in the dock. It's also a great walking neighborhood with so much to see in every direction. This was not my first time in Philadelphia but this was one of the best places I could have stayed at. If I come back and am in this neighborhood again I would definitely think about staying here.
Had a wonderful time and host was very responsive to any needs we had. Great location, everything a walk or Uber ride away. Spent as much as if we had rented a car but didn't have to deal with the parking.
This is a charming 4 level home in a quiet courtyard within walking distance to many historic sites, shops, bars and restaurants. Beautifully renovated inside, quiet, super clean, comfortable bed. We lucked out with street parking on arrival. We used the narrow lane in the rear to quickly load our car when leaving. Overnight parking at the 10th and South Street lot was convenient. We much preferred staying here vs center city hotel.
This meticulously well-appointed, renovated townhouse is a great place to stay in Philly! In a great location, itâs an easy walk to numerous historic sites and neighborhoods. It is 4 stories though so be prepared to do many stairs. We loved it and the stairs were great exercise. Iâd definitely come back!
This was a lovely property. I enjoyed all the comforts of home on my business trip. The neighbor hood was pleasantly clean, charming, friendly and a short walk to historic locations. Bring sneakers to get from the parking garages, as street parking is limited. I'd stay here again on another trip to Philadelphia.
