House was âcleanedâ but was more like a wipe down. Floors needed to be vacuumed, and mopped. Carpet was majorly stained. The hot tub was filthy and cloudy, had debris and hair floating around was not usable. The house does not look like the pictures advertised- âluxury oasisâ is a false advertisement. The pictures in VRBO are several years old when the remodeling of the home was brand new. It currently looks like a party house that needs much love and attention. For example- the chase lounges by the pool were ripped, the chairs inside are completely stained and need to be replaced. We bought blankets to lay over the couch and chairs because we were afraid to sit down on them. The house was not stocked with kitchen essentials for two families with children- whoever is responsible for keeping the home clean, and stocked with the essentials is doing a very poor job. We wanted to leave but the host and VRBO would not let us. I spent the majority of our first day on vacation dealing with this situation. We were only offered a 120 credit towards our next VRBO booking- which will not be happening. VRBO was not helpful at all with this matter and both the host and VRBO blamed each other for not being able to give us a refund so we could vacate the property. We could have stayed at one of the top rated hotels in AZ for the outrageous price we paid to stay here (we know prices are inflated due to spring training.) We will be doing exactly that next year. A very very souring experience
