I’ve stayed at the Inn at St. John 4 or 5 times now and I am consistently impressed by not only the excellent vibes~ (beautiful building decorated nicely) but also how clean and safe it feels. The staff are kind and friendly and my wife and I felt so comfortable staying here as a queer couple for our wedding anniversary!

There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. I had requested a low floor due to a back injury, and was put on the top floor. Thankfully the front desk was willing to carry my bag. Shared shower was small and unpredictable temperature. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly!

The cooms where clean and well laid out, the staff was very nice, we had an early morning that at most morning would have ment missing breakfast but they set up a little earlier so we was still able to grab something on the way out.

The hotel was super cute inside. Charming rooms. If you’re looking for not so ordinary. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast had great choices. The only downside was the tight parking spaces.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the location was so bad that we were worried to park our rental car. Really to bad given that the hotel was fine. I appreciate that they had filter hot and cold water available as well as coffee and tea. Hotel has character but a ton of stairs!

We went to dinner and came back around 8pm. There were folks already preparing to sleep on the street, which is where part of the hotel parking is. The building is old (which I love) but furnishings could be updated. Has a lot of potential. But breakfast was good! 24 hour cookies/coffee was nice. And Howard at the front desk prepared an ice pack for me for a little knee injury!

Totally adequate stay. Didn’t sleep great, and the shared bathroom ended up being a bit more of a hassle than I had anticipated — but this hotel did the trick. It was charming and the location was good.

Breakfast was good, historic interior was cool. The location was off the mark and not the safest area. Worst of all the room smelled beyond awfil. It was an ancient musty moldy snell. I had to sleep with the window open and even then barely sleep. We were out of that room so quick you couldn't stand being in there

Great property with quaint rooms, plenty of space and great staff. Breakfast was continental but super satisfying. Parking onsite was limited but we found a space and it was easy to get our bags to our room.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The stairs were steep but manageable. Appreciated the robes! Parking is limited. The room has everything you need except a coffee maker but that’s available in the lobby 24/7. Really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast is very nice and the staff is very friendly. We (including our 9yo dog) enjoyed our stay here. The only thing to note is that there are quite some stairs so if you’re mobility constraint, it might not be a good choice.
