Excellent location- convenient and superb service.

This place is amazing. It's extremely convenient to all the sights in Old Town Quebec City. Although parking is a bit pricey, it's very convenient and is covered with unlimited in/out privileges. It's not inexpensive but it's really worth the extra. I thought I was reserving the same room we had before (on lower level with stone walls and exposed beams but it was a different room. This room was actually just as good. Roomy, comfortable, quiet and on ground floor. It's an old building w/o elevators so if you have a bad back, it's perfect. The front desk folks are superb. The only thing I didn't like was that they have changed their breakfast to a buffet and most of the food is high carb. It's still very good and they have a cappuccino/espresso machine for folks who want more than plain coffee. I highly recommend this place for convenience, service and quality.

Loved everything about it! Just be aware of no elevator in case you are on the 3rd floor. We didn’t mind the stairs but it’s a lot after all day of exploring.

Perfect in every way!

Loved Le Manoir d'Auteuil. Very convenient location near the walls and within a very short walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Gorgeous room with plenty of space for luggage. Breakfast hit the spot with croissants, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit, and other pastries. A restaurant breakfast would have easily cost $30-40!

Great location and staff, but the room and overall experience didn’t meet expectations We stayed for two nights and truly appreciated the central location, the friendly staff, and the pleasant breakfast and access to the coffee and tea through the day. These were definite highlights. Unfortunately, the room was disappointing. The furniture was very old, and when we opened a closet shelf, the handle came off in our hand. It wasn’t even attached. There was no body wash, only hand soap, which seemed unusual for a hotel at this price point. The sink was located in the main room instead of the bathroom, which wasn’t very practical. Our room was under the roof, and on one side of the bed, even an average-height person had to bend down to avoid hitting their head. There were no power outlets on both sides of the bed, and the electrical setup was strange. Some outlets only worked when the main lights were on. The parking situation was especially frustrating. Upon arrival, we were told there were no available spots in the hotel’s designated lot. We were directed to an alternative location, which was also closed. We had to find parking on our own. We also only learned that there was no elevator after we had already paid, which would have been important to know in advance. For the price we paid, we expected a more comfortable stay and clearer advance information about key amenities.

Excellent staff, great breakfast, and a nice central location. Nothing bad to say about this place. Bear in mind that if you stay in the suite with the mezzanine bathroom level, there is no door, just a curtain. Also, there are windows on the upper level that cannot be reached & have no curtains. If you are sensitive to light, a sleep mask is advised. Overall, the staff was the best part. The personalization felt like being a guest of the White Lotus! Tout était excellente.

This property has so much charm, and the location is perfect to explore the city. The staff were so sweet, honestly the most courteous and helpful we've ever encountered. Breakfast was small but perfect! We did experience issues with our air conditioner two evenings, which was frustrating as the desk is not open 24 hrs. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Charming Stay with a Side of Cardio!

First time visiting Québec City, and this boutique-style hotel absolutely added to the historic charm and warm, friendly vibe of the city. It felt like I stepped back in time—but with modern comfort and plenty of character. Now, let’s talk about the stairs. Oh, the stairs. I stayed on the fourth floor, and let me tell you, after a day of wandering the cobblestone streets, eating too much poutine, and soaking up all the beauty Old Québec has to offer... those steps felt like Everest. 😅 BUT to be fair, the hotel did give a clear heads-up well before check-in that there are no elevators. So, props to them for transparency. If you’re planning a stay and want to save your legs for exploring, I highly recommend requesting a room on the first or second floor. Bonus: from the top floor, I did get a cute little peek-a-boo view of the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac—felt like a secret VIP view! All in all, if you're into charming architecture, friendly vibes, and don’t mind a mini workout, this place is a gem. Just maybe stretch first. 😄

The room was nicely appointed. It could use more convenient hooks for towels in the bathroom by the shower and another shelf area inside the shower. What made the place truly special was the staff. Nancy and Sue were amazing and went above beyond to make sure our stay was fabulous. Nancy made some reocmmendations on places to eat and see; if she wasn't busy helping people at the check-in desk she was busy making the drinks during happy hour. Continental breakfast had enough options and was good enough to start your day with. Close proximity to everything, across from the park and walls surrounding old Quebec. If you are looking for a botique hotel with old world charm, this is the one.
