I had an amazing stay at Ibiza Barra Hotel. Nobody spoke any English and I don't speak any Portuguese, so there was definitely a language barrier, but all of the staff were so amazing and so patient while I tried to translate. Particularly Ezequiel was amazing, he was very friendly and helpful and we were sad to have to say goodbye. If I ever visit Barra again I will be looking to book here!

Decent place for the price.

I found the room to be in good state of repair and clean if a bit on the small side. The service was always friendly. A reasonable selection of food for breakfast but not extensive, no tea / coffee making facility in the room but coffee available during the evening. Location was fairly quiet even though there is a lot of construction nearby for a new road but I didn't hear any noise from it. A few restaurants, supermarket etc within easy walking distance and a fairly quiet beach 15 - 20 mins walk away.

Rio doesn't have to cost $200 per night

Price is good, but you need a car and need to speak some Portuguese or Spanish, as you will get lost and will need to ask directions.

The lobby and the breakfast are good but the rooms are not clean, beds very small, towels very old, very noisy street and the acoustic of the building is really bad. They only speak Portuguese.

Foi minha segunda hospedagem no hotel, a primeira foi bem melhor. Na segunda razoável, banheiro com vazamento no Box, o edredom com mal cheiro não consegui usar, café da manhã excelente.

Estacionamento super desorganizado, pão do café da manhã amanhecido, caixa de gordura da cozinha transbordando esgoto a céu aberto, frigobar do quarto congelando mesmo no mínimo (estragou meus alimentos ), funcionarios de cara fechada e sem paciência, travesseiros sem fronha, celular só carregava se mantivesse a luz acesa ( mesmo estando com minha mulher no quarto ). Se eu pudesse pegaria meu dinheiro de volta. Simples assim. Não valeu a dinheiro que paguei.
