We found the appartment very nice , and clean , the owners were excellent ,they were very helpfully , the place was 20 minutes away by bus from piazza Venicia , and from there ,we could walk to all the most beautiful site of Rome..the place deserve a 5 star , but....the concierge was not a plaisant man , and he made our arrival a little stressful ,but it has nothing to do with the beautiful place and the very nice owners...
Great location to stay, away from the crowds yet very convenient to public transport. Great local restaurants. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the balcony and all the amenities that were privided. Tiny was a excellent host.
Antoinette is a great host and this is a beautiful apartment in a convenient location. Her notebook of instructions is brilliant and a very helpful guide to the neighborhood.
Convenient to public transportation and other amenities
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Antonietta was a very responsive and helpful host. There are a lot of bus lines and a tram line located within a few blocks of the apartment, so we were able to use public transportation to get to all of the places we wanted to visit and all of our tour meeting spots. Another reviewer recommended the restaurant Equo Hostaria, which is a short walk from the apartment. We dined there one night and had a wonderful experience. It's a little "off the beaten path," so we probably wouldn't have found it on our own. A supermarket, pizzeria, small pasta restaurant, bakery, and pharmacy are a short walk from the apartment. We appreciated having a washing machine and drying rack as well as air conditioning, as it was very hot during our time in Rome. We frequently heard emergency vehicle sirens in the area, but they didn't interfere with our ability to sleep soundly at night. Overall, we were very pleased to have found this apartment for our first visit to Rome.
The host was very helpful and kind prior to and during our visit. Antoinetta provided a nice orientation to the apartment, neighborhood and transportation. She also answered our questions throughout our stay, in a timely manner. The home was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. She surprised us with a lovely gift to commemorate our anniversary. She also assisted with arranging transportation to the airport, which was nice.
Everything about the stay was amazing.
Host ensured the unit was well equipped, clean and the AC was on to ensure it worked and was cool in the apartment.
Location is great if you want to stay away from the tourist area.
She greeted us and took the time to answer all our questions and walk us through the unit. This was very helpful
We enjoyed the balcony each night.
Recommendations for a local restaurant was great.
Worth noting if you take the train , exit at the front of the station and turn left and left at the next major intersection, google maps suggested we turn right , the walk was longer and a bit of a challenge with luggage.
Turning left helps orientate you to the am entities close to the station too.
Would definately stay again.
We absolutely loved loved Antoniettaâs apartment. The location was perfect for what we wanted on our last 3 days. She recommended a restaurant nearby and it was exactly what she described. We absolutely LOVED it. Thank you to Antonietta for giving us the tip.
The apartment was so clean and prestigious. Beautiful !
Location was very close to the tram that got us to everything we wanted.
This was a great place for my wife and I during our time in Rome. The apartment is spacious and clean and the neighborhood feels safe. There is plenty of storage space in the bedroom and the balcony offers a perfect breakfast location for the best way to start your day. The bus system in this area is much more reliable than most parts of Rome and there are close bus stops to get you to anywhere you'd like as well as to the Metro and train stations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and worry-free stay.
We cannot say enough good things about our stay in this apartment. Would give it more stars if possible. I chose this place primarily for its air conditioning, internet, ease of access to/from FCO airport, great price, and of course, beautiful photos. ALL turned out even better than I hoped. We've never been to Rome before, but stepped off airplane and bought train ticket to Roma Trastevre. Easy train ride later, we followed GPS instructions and walked 12 mins to the apt. building. All communication with the host was immediate and very easy too. With a late night mini-market and pizzeria right around the corner, we had everything we needed just outside our door. (Full super market also just a few mins walk up the street.) We discovered a restaurant called Equo Hosteria on our walk from the train station to the apt. that turned out to be our favorite food experience in Rome. We went back for late night dinner & wine twice! The 8 tram is also a few short blocks away and took us to all of the city's major sights. We also enjoyed walking home from the Colosseum in less than 1 hour, which was a great way to explore on foot. After long days in the summer heat it was WONDERFUL to go home to REAL air conditioning, huge apartment, fast wifi, and the first time in Europe we had a great shower with actual water pressure! (And soft, fluffy towels.) Washing our clothes and cooking dinner at home one night was also a great bonus. I can't imagine finding more comfort or better location for the price. Highly reccomend this home. Do be sure to stop in at Equo while you're in the neighborhood!! HUGE thanks to our host, Antonietta, for going above & beyond! (If you haven't stayed in Rome before, be aware there is a city tax to be paid up front, standard at every home & hotel we visited, so have a few Euro ready for check-in. Happily, this home did not charge any additional deposit or hidden fees, but the city tax is required.)
We had a very nice six night stay at Antionetta and Paulo's apartment. We arrived at the apartment later than planned, but our hosts were very patient, and provided excellent communication and a kind greeting upon our arrival. The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and our hosts provided some breakfast basics and other kitchen essentials, which were much appreciated. The apartment was quiet, and the a/c and washing machine were great to have. The neighborhood has all amenities, and a ten minute walk gets you to the tram, which takes you to Piazza Venezia and Rome's sights. A ten minute walk also gets you to Trastevere train station which offers many destinations, including a direct route to Fiumicino airport. Anionetta will also arrange transport to/from FCO, an option we took advantage of for our early morning departure. Thanks for the ride Paulo! Thanks for the great stay! Highly recommended.
I stayed at this apartment for a week and loved it. The location was in a nice, quiet neighborhood with plenty of grocery stores within walking distance. It also very close to the tram stop. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you would need. It was also very clean and nicely furnished. In addition, the owner, Antonietta, was very helpful. She gave many tips on things to do and see in Roma. She also was able to answer any questions I had. I would definitely stay at this apartment again!
