Great location and a very friendly host. We were very impressed with the room and hotel reception and it exceeded our expectations. Lots of restaurants nearby and quite easy to get to the more touristy spots. It can be a bit noisy on a night due to street musicians but the hotel provided ear plugs.

Once checked in, Staff was hard to reach via their preferred whatsapp contact. They were very responsive prior to arrival and assisted in Setting up driver service from the airport to the property. Once checked in things changed. The “front desk” is not staffed very often it seems. Biggest issue: the air conditioning in my room kept the temperature around 27-29c, which is around 85F. First day I notified them and they had a random person come and mess with it. Temperature didn’t seem to change. I requested a different room that evening before the clerk left and was told it would be possible the following day. I did not see the clerk at the desk the next 3 days and the WhatsApp went unread/unchecked by them until checkout. The common room aircon was working extremely well and I spoke with another guest who said their room was very cool. So there is obviously an issue with our unit. We had to sleep with the room door open to the public common area while in the room to keep it bearable, but with that comes lack of safety, noise of people coming and going, and bright lights overnight while trying to sleep. Room was extremely clean and as advertised with the exception of the aircon. With it being a massive heatwave of 100F you would think the ac would be a priority fix but it wasn’t. Excellent location for walking around Navona. Very tourist heavy location. Lots of convenient shops and eateries every few feet.

Absolutely loved our stay at Daplace - La Mongolfiera. The location was fantastic, right near the Piazza Navona and walking distance from many top sites. The staff were excellent Marzia and Shelley were so helpful, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable, double glass windows, no sound at all from the streets, it was absolutely fantastic. We would stay here again in a heart beat!! Very impressed.
