SUMMARY
Relax & enjoy sunrises, sweeping views to downtown & cool ocean breezes in this well appointed corner-unit townhome (located on the 2nd and 3rd floors with main entry off the ground level). Perfectly situated on the water in the heart of Mission Beach, this relaxing vacation home comes equipped with 3br's + 3ba's, A/C, waterfront balcony with seating, floor to ceiling windows for optimal views & SMART TV's in all rooms. *Note-no BBQ included. Maximum occupancy 8, 6 adults max.

INTERIOR LAYOUT
The main level offers a convenient foyer/entry, perfect to keep your shoes & beach equipment. The tiled stairway will lead you to the second floor that houses the main living area that features floor to ceiling windows allowing maximum water views & sun exposure. Fantastic open floorplan with a fully stocked kitchen (cookware, plates, cups, silverware, coffee maker, blender, etc) that is open to the 6 person dining area & spacious living room with a large Bay Front balcony. There is also one bedroom (full bed) and full bath that round out the second floor.

On the third floor you will find the luxurious, private & spacious Master “HONEYMOON” Suite. Arguably THE BEST bedroom in the entire complex with floor-ceiling windows, views to the South & East, dual mirrored wardrobe closets, ensuite bathroom with surround shower, elegant dual vanities & TV. Across the hallway houses the third bedroom (2 twin beds) and third full bath.

OTHER FEATURES
This vacation home is equipped with numerous amenities, including recessed lighting, wood floors in all bedrooms, A.C (Note due to the way the air conditioning venting is setup, the living room area typically takes longer to cool down compared the remainder of the home especially on hotter days. We do have ceiling fans & floor fans to help keep the area cool!), a private outdoor view balcony, TV's in living room & each bedroom (high-def cable TV), top of the line towels & linens, and beach toys/chairs/boogie boards. We also work directly with a local beach rental shops that offer our tenants special discounts rentals on most standard beach cruisers.

‱ Guest Requirements | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30 (exceptions made for multigenerational families).

Waterfront July 2025

Overall it as a great property in a fantastic part of Mission Bay. Quiet and quaint. We met our kids and grand-kids there for our family vacation. Loved the nightly fireworks show from Sea World. We had a 2nd floor unit, parking was easy, plenty of beds and bedrooms & bathrooms. We loved the huge walk in shower w/ 2 heads.

Highly recommend staying with Surf Styles. We've stayed with them several times and have always had a wonderful experience. We love the Mission Bay views and proximity to everything from Belmont Park to the famous San Diego Zoo. Great rental for families!

Nice place and good location. No ac vent in bedroom facing west. Lousy wifi. Could not watch tvs at same time. Took 20 hours to get boogie boards. Maintenance workers were there the 1st hour or so. Priced high for what we compared while in San Diego during our trip.

Great Water Viewing, Comfy Master Bedroom

The great thing about this home is all the windows that wrap around the unit, so you get water views from almost all the room. We didn't want to leave the 3rd floor master because the views were so amazing & the bed was nice and new. Also nice updates even from the photos
the tv's are larger & new oversized accent chair in the living room, both small but delightful surprises! Thanks guys

The home has a lovely view of the bay. It's also in a nice quiet location, very walkable to everything you might want to see in Mission Beach. Unfortunately, the home is a bit dated and in need of repair. Most notably, our first day, as we were opening the large metal (35 lb) mini blinds, the blind came off the broken bracket and crashed onto the head of our friend who was staying with us. He sustained a severe head injury, nearly a concussion and large lacerations. When I notified the management they offered condolences and to have someone come out the next day to repair. Nothing else The Brita filter in the refrigerator was leaking and water was all over the inside of the refrigerator and spilling onto the floor.There were very few utensils for cooking, so if you cook much you might want to bring your own supplies. Two of the windows that help you enjoy the view - the reason you likely chose this listing - have a broken seal and are fogged up in between the panes of glass making it difficult to see out.There was a bag of someone's dirty clothes left on the kitchen counter when we arrived. Not towels, socks and clothing items. The listing states that you need a vehicle 6 feet or less. This is inaccurate. We specifically chose a vehicle that was under 6 ft and it wouldn't fit.

Overall this was 4/5. The location of this property is fantastic. It's right on the beach, which was great for our kids. For the price, just didn't feel like it was a 5/5. The pictures with the online listing were amazing, but then the interior amenities weren't a 5/5. Property management was responsive, but we had a few hot water issues throughout our stay.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back! The only things we would highly recommend would be to add a high top to the patio. The oven pretty much stopped working and would not get over 225 at one point and then wouldn’t go over 185 degrees which made it impossible to cook anything. The electric skillet probably needs to be replaced or bring your own. These are definately not negatives just some things to consider addressing. The view is amazing and the facility is beautiful! It was our first time renting on the beach and we loved it! We will be back!!

Awesome beach house!

The location was excellent! Mission bay is a great neighborhood! Lots of coffee/restaurant options within walking distance (funky lemon was our favorite). If you do venture out almost all San Diego attractions/neighborhoods are within 20 min drive. Great central location to explore the area. House was clean/comfortable, master bed was very comfortable. Parking is a bit challenging if your car does not fit in the underground parking.We have a Nissan rogue that would have fit if it weren’t for our roof rack. Street parking was a bit challenging but we were able to find a spot within a block or two our entire stay, be mindful of the street sweeping parking restrictions and you should be fine parking wise. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, convenient few days at the beach!! Booking was simple, the property checked in on us, we had no issues so can’t speak on their reaction time if you do, but the proactive check in from the PM was appreciated. We had everything we needed and all house functions worked just fine.

Great location, needs serious updating.

While the space was sufficient, the two bedrooms were way too hot. The A/C is not strong enough for that large space. All the bathrooms and kitchen could use updates. Broken dishwasher door, bathroom sink AND shower sink that had clogs. If the kitchen, bathrooms and HVAC were updated - at the same price point - it would be worth it. We had a great stay, enjoyed the patio - although the furniture was awkward and not at all thought out. Sunsets on the beach were awesome. Surf Style was responsive and easy to work with though they are the ones who need to understand the renovation comments. We had a sweaty toddler that couldn’t nap or hall asleep because it was 85 degrees in the room after 6 hours with the A/C on.

Great Home, Excellent Location

We had a wonderful stay in our vacation rental. We decided to stay on Mission Bay for a more quite vacation and it was exactly what we needed. In less than 2 minutes you are on the ocean side if you wanted more activity. I'd say about a 6 minute walk to a few coffee shops and restaurants. However if you want a wider selection, more like a 20 minute walk to more restaurants. House was as it was described. A little wear and tear here and there, but we have stayed in beach vacation rentals before and this is to be expected on the water. Master bedroom had excellent views! Bed was comfortable. The room with the two twin beds was very quite and comfortable. The room on the 2nd floor had a smaller bed, more like a full size rather than a queen. The ad interchanges the wording for size of the bed (full and queen are both mentioned). It still worked for two adults. EXCELLENT communication with the management company. A few things came up and the management company was so easy to get a hold of. We would stay here again and without a doubt look into other rentals with this same property management company as it went so well. Side note, the garage is a really tight fit. If you have a truck or large SUV like the ad describes, just plan on parking else where. We were able to find free public parking close to the house, on El Carmel.

Family Fun

My wife and our 4 children had a great stay at this Waterfront 4 listing. The views were incredible, the bay was so relaxing and perfect for our younger ones, the master bed was super comfy, and the hosts were very responsive to all our questions (thanks for all your recommendations!). We just recommend guests bring baby gates because their are stairs.

Loved the Space and Location

The space was clean, comfortable, and very bright with all of the windows. It was easy and convenient getting to and from the bay from the unit with no roads to cross. All 7 of us slept like babies, the beds were so comfortable. Was nice having a fully stocked kitchen and beach chairs and boards, though we would have liked more supplies (we ran out of paper towels and garbage bags).

Nice property managers - very helpful, but would have liked full disclosure regarding the underground parking. 3 units and 6 spots, but very tight. Parking garage has tons of water leaks and the floor is disgusting. Worst issue is that it only has a 6-foot clearance going down the entry slope which makes it practically impossible for a larger SUV or truck to access parking (we had to park both vehicles on the street). Mixed batch of updates throughout the unit (eg.,master bedroom vanity and flooring), but unit is very dated - 70's style mostly with mirrors everywhere including the ceiling in the master bathroom. Unit requires a bit more maintenance (I had to use WD40 to free up the sliding door locks). Master bathroom is large, but other two bathrooms are closet sized. In one bathroom, you have to enter the shower just to close the door to the bathroom.

Amazing Home to Stay At!

This was a perfect home and location for my friends and I to unwind and enjoy what Mission beach has to offer. We loved all the windows and the balcony that looked right onto the bay. We got to paddleboard and rent bikes to ride on the boardwalk. So many places within walking distance to eat and/or rent water toys or bikes. We loved it so much, that we're already thinking of the next time we can come back!

Beach town house

Overall property was fine, however, there's no bluetooth speaker to connect your devices to, the knifes could be sharpened , the master bedroom mirror closet door was off the tracks. Master bathroom a tad cheesy with all of the mirrors on walls/ceiling. Was a tad challenging to sleep in with the beach-goers walking, biking, rollerblading right below master bedroom. They were up and active by7 am on Saturday morning. Master bed was comfy. Some of the artwork/accessories are out dated.

Great unit, parking needs work

We enjoyed the units cleanliness, views, close proximity to restaurants/bars and easy bay and ocean access. Parking garage did not fit our vehicles and was unaware that it would not accommodate them until 2 days prior. Parking took hours to find most days and we had both of our vehicles towed Saturday night. An very pricey added expense.

Looked better than it was, would not return

The good: -Location. -Online pictures of the interior look great. The bad: -Sink drains smell like Mexico, haven't been bleached in a while. -Kitchen is not very well stocked- Ex: No tongs, nor cutting board to be found, not ideal for food prep or bbq/salad. -Interior is a bit dated and the units bathroom is straight out of an adult film with a giant tub/shower and mirrors everywhere- including the ceiling! -50% bad nights sleep night sleep. In our 6 nights we had (1) a neighbor house party with lots of people & music until 2:30am, (2) a car alarm sounded off in the alley every two mins for 1 hour, (3) a drunk homeless man needed to be rousted out of the neighbors porch.
