Absolutely fantastic experience! The private patio overlooking Playa Ocotal is so spacious, and there is always a breeze. Wake up to the sound of howler monkeys in the hills and various birds calling all day. The air conditioned tent keeps you cool at night but you could easily not use ac and let the breeze come through the mesh screens. The host is super responsive if you have questions or need anything. Feel like you are isolated, no annoying people or crying children, but good restaurants and a beautiful beach are just a few minutes away. We explored tide pools at Playa Ocotal and were the only ones on the entire beach at Playa Gringo. We found anything we needed at one of the mini mercados along the way to Playa del Coco where we browsed the stores. Totally relaxing wonderful stay, would not change a thing, hope to come back again one day.
