The Yellow Farm
Unique, tranquil country getaway. Beautifully remodeled farmhouse. Located on an active farm with views of grazing fields. Guest access: Access to entire house, porch, grass area around house, and patio. Slough available for recreation and fishing. Other things to note: Guests with horses can request accommodations to keep horses on the property.
Property was serene & beautiful , home well equipped and very comfortable. Great location. Went to American Players theater(highly recommended ).Host was very communicative. Hope to return. Thank you for your hospitality.
The property was cool and the house was very spacious and clean. And the owners were so great! Wonderful communication and tended to our needs right away!
The property gave our toddler and dogs plenty of room to play in the yard. The host was very accommodating. The house was perfect for our trip. We will be back!
We enjoyed our stay at the Farm House. It was clean and very comfortable to stay at. The location was perfect for us, attractions and restaurants within 20 minute drive.
Plenty of room and quiet setting. Property was clean...furniture could have been more comfortable. Mosquitoes were fierce but owner provided spray...much appreciated.
We had a great stay at The Yellow Farm! the location is set back away from the road with lots of tree cover. There is an awesome three season porch with a T.V so its great for reading and watching a movie. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook with, there was games, books and puzzles as well. As a bonus for us its located around 10 minutes from The House on The Rock. Overall our family had a great time!
We loved our stay! The farm is beautiful and was very quiet. (No farming activity during our stay which we would not have minded!)
The home is spacious and had everything we needed! The large porch was a great added space! Lots of room and it was perfect for us and our dogs.
Hope to be back!
We were not there very much because we were there to see area attractions. Would have liked more time on the property to explore.. I t remined me and my older sister
Enjoyed staying at this farmhouse with cattle for neighbors. Close to Taliesin, house on the rock, baraboo, tons of hiking trails 10-60 min drive. Great sunsets by the river and stars from the yard. 1 star off for the very basic kitchen (pots but no lids, a farmhouse without a proper coffee pot? Bring a box of pods or a reusable pod) and because the cleaning fee is on the high end. You have to strip your own linens and place in specific spots. I don't mind tidying up, but then the fee should reflect that. But overall it was a good stay, good for dogs and a great location.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Yellow Farm. The property was clean, had all the amenities listed, and was exactly what we expected. One huge perk was the beautiful dark night skies - which we just don't have in suburban Chicago - and we got to see falling stars from the meteor shower! What a great family memory! Well, we actually made many family memories here. The large table on the porch was perfect for boardgame nights. The ping pong table made for fun competitions. And the large couch was perfect for cuddling up on and watching movies together. We also loved to watch the cows meander in the pasture and the numerous hummingbirds enjoy the feeder on the front deck. Downtown Spring Green is very charming and just 10 minutes away. We had a great time exploring the area and surrounding views. Overall, it was a relaxing, memorable trip!
We had a great time hanging out at the Yellow Farm. Stephanie, our host, worked really hard to make sure that we were comfortable and cool, despite some very warm days and nights.
Located in the beautiful, rolling hills of Spring Green on an active farm. You stay in a rustic farmhouse, which is less than 20 minutes to Taliesin, house on the rock, and American players theater. Stephanie, the hostess provides excellent service. Thank you.
