Spacious and secluded, we had a great getaway. Easy access and close to the ferry, perfect if you are hopping off and on the island. The hosts make it easy, and the value was perfect - would stay there again.

It was nice & quiet at this location. Driveway super hard to find, address on VRBO site is incorrect. Bathroom wasn’t as cleaned as a hotel but it was fine. Felt like one one had been to the house for awhile. Hosts very nice, informative and courteous.

Our Mother - Daughter Retreat

We had a wonderful time in this very quiet and comfortable house. It is surrounded by trees and very private. Inside was plenty of room for everyone, including a 2 year old. Every year we get together to talk and laugh and have fun. Our stay on Anderson Island was perfect. And it is beautiful there.

Wonderful home! Well stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and multiple blankets for extra warmth, if needed. I’ve been coming to AI for twenty years and this has been my families favorite home. We hope to visit again!

Everything you need!

Overall pretty good! We love the island and are thankful to have a stay that takes pets. Just a few thoughts- there is just 1 bike but no pump (listing mentions 2). The backyard needs help, leveling is needed just to walk without turning your ankle and having a place to sit around the fire pit without falling in!

What We Were Looking For

We needed a dog-friendly vacation home for the 4th of July weekend and this one was perfect. Fenced back yard, nearby walking trails, quiet and peaceful --except for fireworks on the 4th and 5th. Although illegal on the island the rogues were out --as the owners advised might be the case--but not as bad as the city/suburbs. The home was clean, inviting, comfortable, private and provided us with excellent amenities. It met all our needs.Check-in and communication were excellent. Our only suggestion concerns the back deck. It was pretty rough with debris from the trees. The glass top dining table was covered with hardened debris which took some scrubbing to remove--same with two adirondack chairs on the deck. Covering the table and chairs should handle it. This concern did not overshadow the overall excellent experience we enjoyed.

Absolutely beautiful!

The pictures of the house do not do it justice! The open floor plan make this home cozy but spacious, the back patio was great for us to sit and socialize while eating. The check in process was incredibly easy. So glad we stayed and will definitely be back!

Looking for peace and quiet

Wonderful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of one month at this home. The house was very clean and well supplied. The dryer gave out during our first week there, and the hosts brought in a new one the VERY NEXT DAY. We had out grand-daughter and a nephew with us for a week and they were well accomodated as well. The home was secluded and very quiet. We enjoyed the back deck and used the grill that was kept in the garage. My sister lives on Anderson Island and we hosted she and her husbancd for dinner and sat on the back deck. It's a great place with great hosts.
