The property is fine, it’s clean and the check in staff was good but the bed is the worst bed I’ve slept in. I’m not a heavy person, 5’6, 120 pounds and I completely sunk into the bed. Super uncomfortable. They need to replace their beds. You come to a hotel to sleep, their beds should be at least decent.

It’s a nice hotel

I enjoyed my room. I (female traveling alone) didn’t feel comfortable or safe enough to use the pool which was disappointing. The breakfast was ok, it would’ve be nice if the bacon wasn’t that precooked stuff you reheat. The potatoes were ok. I couldn’t eat anything else but I have a lot of dietary restrictions.

Great location and Breakfast! Would stay again

The good - The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable - pillows were standard ones (ok for us) fridge was cold, shower had great pressure and was hot, TV worked and loads of stations (maybe US ones - we couldn’t find the news) breakfast was amazing - the selection of items changed each day, including the waffle batter flavours! We didn’t use the pool or workout equipment. The location is amazing with many restaurants, walmart, dollar store and LCBO right across the street! Don’t worry if you forgot something - just walk across the street and pick it up! Not so good - lamp beside bed was not secure and hanging from the wall. My hairdryer died while i was using it and there were some general maintenance things in the hallway. I have never seen doorbells on a hotel room. You could turn it off - but our friends would not stay on private and people rang them in the middle of the night. I understand why you have them, but a client needs to be able to turn these off completely.

Overall it was good, I always look forward to a comfy bed, crisp linens and nice duvet and found this room had old spongy bed and not the best of linens and I’m really not a snob but the bedding looked and felt tired. Having said that I slept well. Also to note, my father’s room, he did not wanted the air conditioner off but front desk had no control over the AC system, nor did the rooms.

Great Stay

Great location, friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious with the king suite. Breakfast included, lots of parking. Restaurants and LCBO close to hotel by walking.
