This apartment is in a fantastic location! We loved being so close to San Marco's and Rialto, with shops and restaurants all around. Having a representative meet us at the vaporetto stop worked so well and she was so helpful. There are some stairs to get into the apartment and then the apartment itself is spread over 3 floors (kitchen, dining, and living room on floor 1, 1 bedroom and bath on floor 2, and 2 bedrooms on floor 3. My parents who are in their 80s were able to manage just fine, and the whole apartment is very spacious and comfortable! It was a great place to stay while exploring Venice!
It would have been better to communicate .. found 3 issues - lift is not working, dryer is not working .. no hot water for 1 day, guy came and fixed hot water issue after a day
The building is in an amazing location near Rialto Bridge and St Marks square. It's a very interesting building. However, we did not have one second of Wifi for our entire stay. It really put a damper on our trip because it was Christmas and we could not do video calls with family back home. In addition to that, the remote control didn't work at all so we couldn't watch Netflix. With teenagers, this was really missed at the end of the day. We were hoping to watch a movie at the end our sightseeing day since a lot of things were closed, we planned to spend more time at home. We even purchased our own batteries but still couldn't get the remote/TV to work. I feel these things should be tested before renting out, especially by a rental company. Unfortunately, these things disappointed us about our stay here. If Wifi is important to you, I would pass.
The location of this site is fantastic! We really enjoyed staying in the midst of the stores and restaurants in the San Marco area. We did have some issues with the shower and the air condition. If fixed this site really couldn't be beat!
The apartment is very nice and in a central location super close to Rialto Bridge and St Mark's square. Everything was clean.
We recommend staying here if you are traveling to Venice.Fair warning some of the amenities like laundry weren't working so if you are depending on those check with the host prior to booking.
We stayed for two nights and had a great experience overall. Check-in was the easiest of the entire trip. The host just gave us a code and the address and we let ourselves in on our schedule. Checkout was just as simple.
The apartment was clean and charming and met my expectations based on the picture. It was very centrally located, but far enough away from St. Marks Square that you didn't feel like you were living in a tourist trap (though the walkway outside did get very busy at times).
Overall, this was one of the best locations we stayed during our time in Italy.
