The hotel is a truly unique experiece, it is a beatiful hotel. Venice Lido with the beach is a perfect break after staying in Venice San Marco (we spent 2 nights in Venice, then 2 nights here on Lido). The hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool (closes relatively early at 7 pm). The hotel is about 10 min walk to the paid beach (Des Bains), at the reception you can ask for an umbrella rent and towels (all for a reasonable fee), Des Bains feels like a quiet private beach, clean and not crowded at all. The paid beaches close at 7 pm.

The hotel, pool, staff and room were perfect. The staff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was amazing, loads of fresh fruit all brought to your table. My only complaint was that the bar charges for drinks were really random. One time a tea was €5 then it was €8 the same for orange juice, it was like they made up the prices, everything else was perfect!

The hotel is fantastic. The exterior of the property is just amazing with great bars to sit and drink. The roof top bar is just a great additional to watch the sunrise. Couple of things that dont make it 5 star. I dont mind the bathroom being glass but please dont do that to the toilet too. Not ideal to see your partner there and visa versa. Secondly just some housekeeping issues not enough towels in bathroom had to keep requesting new ones. Dont let this put you off the hotel is in a fantastic location. The beds are super comfy and hotels air conditioning is a god send when youve spent all day outside.

A gem of an hotel

A wonderful hotel on The Lido. Perfect for a city/beach break. Lovely staff, a very nice pool area. Although, we preferred the Blue Moon beach club. Water taxis too and from Venice and the airport. Our only criticism was the pillows were quite hard. Not our choice. Also, their ‘cosy’ cheapest room was roomy and had everything we needed. No need to spend more on a bigger room. We didn’t add breakfast, quite expensive and there are restaurants and cafes around.
